Safarisounds originally was a young Heidelberg-based jazz-trio that already made a record when they were about 16 years old. As other players joined the band, they began to explore the world of funk&soul and overtime created their very own interpretation of this style. After releasing their second album "from easy jazz to soulfunk" in 2002, they played lots of club gigs and festivals in germany before they started a collaboration with German HipHop-legend Toni L. Together they recorded "Funkanimal", co-produced by David Moufang aka. move d and released in 2007. The album got very good feedback from both critics and fans. After a nation-wide tour with the funkanimal, they're now working on new material while still playing some gigs, both with Toni L and with their own show.
