Safaris(サファリス)

[名前の由来]
語源はスワヒリ語で『旅』を意味する。
音にのせて有機的世界を旅する意味で名付けられる。

[経歴]
2007年大阪、以前から個々に音楽活動をし、親交も深かった５人、 Kat-chang、にっSUN、T.A.P、フシイソウ、寺子テラオでsafarisを結成する。ジャンルにとらわれない独自の楽曲を制作し大阪のライブハウスを中心に活動する一方、音楽と映像、ライブペインティングなどの様々なジャンルのアートと融合し新たな角度からライブの価値を打ち出し活動を広げている。
2008年８月には広島県福山美術館で行われた荒井良二展覧会「スキマの国の美術館」にて荒井良二氏とライブペインティングを行い盛況に終わる。
また同年11月、大阪でのMINAMI WHEEL(ﾐﾅﾐﾎｲｰﾙ) 2008に出演し反響を呼ぶ。
