The Bathroom Liberation Front is a loose group of activists and allies who come together to promote and advocate for safe public restrooms. We recognize that there are a diverse array of gender identities and expressions, and "binary bathrooms" can be limiting and unsafe for many individuals. We seek to build coalitions with others beyond the gender variant community, as bathrooms beyond the binary can benefit many! In the great queer tradition, we use humor to grow our message and communicate more effectively.

The safe2pee project was created to catalog gender neutral and other safe bathrooms in north america. The directory is entirely community derived and boasts over 1200 bathrooms in 200 cities. You can find maps, details, reviews and access info on the web site. Recently the ability to search by cell phone and closest location were added!

When we first began dating, we were shocked that there was no one place that he (Aaron) could turn to show me (Crystal) "See, this explains what being an FTM means." We hope that this book will be a good start.
