The Safe Amplification Site Society is a non-profit society dedicated to establishing a permanent all-ages space for music and other arts events in Vancouver. This new space will be financially sustainable and legal in every way. It will be available for any person to organize any kind of event, free of charge. Admission costs for all events at the space will be kept affordable: usually five dollars or less. .. Members of the Safe Amplification Site Society will also organize music and arts events at other existing spaces in Vancouver. Any member can organize an event under the Society's name, provided it is legal, affordable and accessible to people of all ages. .. We are currently raising money and community support in order to make our permanent venue become a reality. If you would like to get involved, please don't be shy! Become a member, donate money, be our friend (on myspace, facebook, or in real life), and tell everyone you know about this project and why it's so urgently needed in Vancouver. ..
