ABOUT SAFFA

Marco Di Crescenzio (aka Tinì Monteca) e Simone Di Crescenzio. were born in Fucecchio near Florence. They started to work in discography’s world in 2000. At that time they did call themselves Hot Coffee and since beginning they got themselves noticed, the first record “Norby feat Edingno Queiroz”(2000) was licenced all over the world by Warner Bros. They also did a project “Plateau Royale” with the collaboration of vocalists like Cheryl Porter,now a great gospel singer, and Sabrynaah Pope (we rember you.Respect!). However the very success came in 2002 with the record Pink Coffee, the house remix of the one greatest song by Pink Floyd “Another Brick in The Wall”. It was the first ever official remix in Pink Floyd’s history. Floyd’s leader and song’s author Roger Waters gave publishing approval after he listened to it. Pink Coffee has been the most requested record at the European music festival, the 2002’ Midem. Every major labels asked for it and it was licenced everywhere in the world. In Italy Marco and Simone won a Gold Record for selling over 25000 copies and it’s been the best seller 2002’s Italian record. There’s a video about it ,that was realized in Berlin and was on air on the major tv networks.like Viva and Mtv. In the same year they had another success “Coffee Beats vol.2”, the tribal saga that has like protagonist the king of percussions Silvano Del Gado. They also did remix for Noelia, Jestofunk and Jocelyn Brown. In 2005 Marco and Simone started a new way. They call themselves SAFFA(it’s the name of the industrial area where they have their studio..) Under the name Tinì Monteca they realized remix for Gus Gus, Joe T Vannelli and they’ve continued the Coffee Beats’s saga,it’s just arrived at vol.7. In 2007 they made a remix of a historic Italian song Bollicine(SAFFA RMX ’07) from the Italian star Vasco Rossi, who put it in his official discography.It was 15 weeks in best sellers Italian and European’ charts. In 2008 people are waiting for their new work. It’s a remix of classical hit by Robert Miles “Children” The remix is called Tinì Monteca vs Saffa mix and it will be part of the new Del Gado’s release. At the moment it’s in a few lucky djs’ hands....

All’epoca si facevano chiamare “Hot Coffee” e fin da subito si sono fatti notare nel panorama musicale,infatti il primo disco da loro prodotto “Norby feat.Edigno Queiroz”(2000) fu licenziato in tutto il mondo dalla Warner Bros. Hanno dato vita al progetto “Plateau Royale” che vede alternarsi vocalist come Cheryl Porter,oggi affermata cantante gospel e la mitica Sabrynaah Pope (we rember you.Respect!) Ma il successo planetario,arriva nel 2002 con il titolo PinkCoffee,il remix in chiave house del celeberrimo brano “Another Brick in The Wall” dei Pink Floyd, il primo remix ufficiale nella storia dei Pink Floyd benedetto da Roger Waters in persona che lo ha prima ascoltato e poi approvato. Pink Coffee è stato il disco più corteggiato al Midem 2002,la fiera europea della musica. Tutte le più grosse label hanno fatto la fila per averlo ed stato licenziato in tutti i territori del mondo.In Italia si sono aggiudicati un disco d’oro per aver venduto oltre 25.000 copie e hanno raggiunto la posizione n°1 nei maggiori network. .Esiste anche un video di Pink Coffee realizzato interamente a Berlino,che è stato n.1 sulla rete all music e in rotazione sulle varie emittenti europee di Mtv. Nel solito anno vede il successo anche il progetto “Coffee Beats vol.2”, la saga tribale che vede protagonista il signore delle percussioni Silvano Del Gado.Realizzano remix per Noelia, Jestofunk e Jocelyn Brown. Nel 2005 Marco e Simone si ribattezzano con il nome SAFFA (che poi è il nome la zona industriale dove risiede il loro studio a Fucecchio...) Sotto il nome Tinì Monteca realizzano remix per Gus Gus, JoeT Vannelli e come SAFFA continuano la saga dei “Coffee Beats” arrivando per adesso al vol.7. Nel 2007 realizzano il remix del brano “Bollicine”(SAFFA RMX '07) della star Vasco Rossi il quale,lo ha voluto inserire nella sua discografia ufficiale ed è stato 15 settimane in classifica vendite in Italia e in Europa. Attesissimo il loro nuovo lavoro.Si tratta di un remix di “Children”(hit di Robert Miles) La versione Tinì Monteca vs SAFFA mix che sarà compresa nell’ uscita ufficiale del nuovo Del Gado, sta circolando nelle mani di pochi fortunati...
