Actually we're not really sure, how 'bout you tell us?!
In the ashes of the not-so-legendary funkrockband Red Belly Black, the idea of new band was formed by then drummer Victor and keyboardist Dino Zuzic. A band with a more heavy sound, influenced by both 70's type band and modern hardrock/metal. And Victor decided to put the drums on the shelf and pick up his old guitar instead since his head were filled with riffs and ideas for great songs.
After a bunch of auditions, the band came to life in 2006 when Martin Jonasson(vocals) and Magnus Carlsson(bass) decided to join the band. A drummer was also found in the shape of the grinding, blastbeating metalman Gustav Elowson, who played on the first demo in 2007.
Gustav was in 2008 forced to leave the band due to other commitments.
No despair though! Drummer Anton Roos was then handpicked to be his replacer and we were all happy that we had now found all the right guys for the band.
Since then we have recorded a new demo, played a handful of gigs and are currently looking for a recordlabel out there who believes in Saffire as much as we do.

Recorded and mixed in Crab Studios, in Madrid, produced by José López and Still Nasty, and later mastered in Hollywood's own Precision Mastering Studios, by Ron Boustead, in Los Angeles (USA). A whole lotta hard rock, atmospheres, and a touch of stoner make up these Spaniard's debut, Distributed by Alone Records/The Stone Circle.
