In the ashes of the not-so-legendary funkrockband Red Belly Black, the idea of new band was formed by then drummer Victor and keyboardist Dino Zuzic. A band with a more heavy sound, influenced by both 70's type band and modern hardrock/metal. And Victor decided to put the drums on the shelf and pick up his old guitar instead since his head were filled with riffs and ideas for great songs. .... After a bunch of auditions, the band came to life in 2006 when Martin Jonasson(vocals) and Magnus Carlsson(bass) decided to join the band. A drummer was also found in the shape of the grinding, blastbeating metalman Gustav Elowson, who played on the first demo in 2007. Gustav was in 2008 forced to leave the band due to other commitments. No despair though! Drummer Anton Roos was then handpicked to be his replacer. In spring 2010 Martin decided to leave the band. And that's where we are today. Looking for a new singer. .... We have recorded a new demo, played a handful of gigs and are currently looking for a recordlabel out there who believes in Saffire as much as we do. ...... CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A NEW LEAD SINGER!
