[About SaGa - Raison D'etre]
Neo Asian Dance Rok group「SaGa」is comprised of juno (lead singer)　Rio (Rapper /producer) Kaori (choreographer) and Ippei (Choreographer). They originated as a club pop group signed to Avex with there debut single brighter side for the Japanese animation and video game Viewtiful joe also playing in America distributed by Warner brothers and also Madoka for the Japanese racing Anime series Initial D. They resigned from their label in 2006 in pursuit of a crossover career in the U.S and are now back with their own independent label "Madoka" with a brand new album titled Raison d'etre. "SaGa" is the Japanese way of saying "human instict" as experienced dancers and performers are able to express just that during live shows as well as through lyrical content and delivery, they are in every facet of life artist.

[ History ]
２００４年にLAにて結成、自主制作した音源が本国日本の音楽関係者の中で注目され、２００５年３月にAvexから日本においてメジャーデビュー、日米で大人気のアニメ「Viewtiful Joe」の主題歌に1st sigle 「Brighter side」が決定する。「A-nation '05」に出演し日本でのパフォーマンス,プロモーションツアーを開始。その後「頭文字D」挿入歌、早稲田アカデミーのCMソングとして3rd single「円-madoka-」が全国ネットで、「Viewtiful Joe」アメリカ版のOP ED曲として1st single 「Brighter side」2nd single「Spirit Awake」が全米ネットでそれぞれ放映されている。２００６年２月「Viewtiful Joe」original sound trackのメインアーティストとして全米デビュー。同時期にAvex Traxより独立しレーベル「MADOKA」を設立。２００６年の活動拠点を日本に定めたSaGaは、移籍後第一弾シングル「超」を、そして日本が世界に誇るダンスチームD’OAMのエンターテイメントダンス公演「City Lights Memory」の主題歌となった--City Light」を連続リリースし、関西のクラブシーンで話題を集め、大阪市の主催する野外ミュージカル「OSAKA　HEAVEN」にゲスト出演し主題歌として「HEAVEN」挿入歌に「We need love」「Life iｓ」を提供する。２００７年は春に待望の1st Albumの発表を控え自らを中心とするイベント「MATSURI」を立ち上げる。現在大阪でのワンマンイベント集客数は約250人、出演するイベントの規模は３００〜３０００人、CD総売上数累計約１００００枚。１１月に拠点をLAに戻し　１月２３日　革命的イベント「Hi-Sci」をLos Angeles KEY CLUBにて敢行！
