This author weaves themes from all that throbs, mists, and leaches from nature into her novels. She is a creator, a storyweaver, a true original...this author is Sage Sweetwater, firebrand lesbian novelist. It is a writer's job to create strong characters and assign them personalities to carry them through the seasons of the story from the time they are introduced into the story.
New fans and new stories to tell of consistently high-quality, fictionalized lesbians! Sage Sweetwater's lesbian pulp fiction represents the American West with themes of freedom and independence. Sage Sweetwater attributes her success today as one such woman who took herself out of chaos and retreated to a reclusive mountain environment with different cues to react to - different conceptions of time, space, work, sex and religion. Sage Sweetwater has her own womaness invested, a Wiccan lesbian whose fiery, beaded reflection mirrors in the Mason of whiskey.
Sage Sweetwater knows what it takes to write adaptable movie scenes into a novel. She has the movie reels running in her mind while writing her lesbian pulp fiction novels. From 164 to 172-page pulp fiction novels adjusted to modern day, Sage's novel From The Convent To The Rawhide: The Saga of Sadie Cade And Vi Montana has been easily adapted to 110-pages of screenplay, the ideal length for a screenplay for todays standards.
In her novels, she has determined the through-line and major subplot of her stories where not alot will have to be cut. Her novels are already written the correct length for a two-hour feature film. By through-line, she means WHO (protagonist) WANTS (goal) and WHO (antagonist) or WHAT (some other force) opposes her characters.
Audiences pay the price of admission and buy DVDs to watch MOTION (things moving about) PICTURE (things you can see). The old screenwriting adage, "Show, don't tell!" applies more than ever when writing an adaptation.
Sage Sweetwater Creative Properties lesbian pulp fiction novels are not shy on story and her style and characters create a plauditory effect. Sage Sweetwater is a prose writer so good at what she does, and her artful command of the lesbian language and strong storylines is enough to maintain reader interest in the lesbian genre. Sage Sweetwater uses brilliant backgrounds to launch a screen story when writing her novels.

In the 40s, 50s, and 60s, the purpose of dime store novels were to lure working-class audiences. They were distributed at newsstands, dry goods stores, drug stores, and bus depots.
Dime store novels typified Wild West stories, urban outlaws, detective stories, working-girl chronicles, and romances.
When you pair dime store novels with lesbian pulp fiction of that same era, both having lurid cover illustrations, Sage Sweetwater novels have a recurring formula that fits the size of the dime store novel she applies to modern-day lesbian fiction set in more positive times.
Unlike the yesteryear lesbian pulp fiction, imagery is not directed in the bedroom in Sage Sweetwater novels. Sage Sweetwater taps into the cultural pulse and weaves lesbian fiction from social, political, environmental, and religious themes with carefully chosen uncensored lesbian sex scenes hot enough that no more than a few are needed.
There have been films based on lesbian pulps as well as dime store western novels by Louis L'Amour.
The most well-known vintage lesbian pulp fiction writers are Ann Bannon and Vin Packer. In their time, publishers insisted on moral endings to punish lesbian sexuality and at the same time, exploited it. Lesbian characters did not fare well in these novels and normally had to suffer downfalls to make up for being lesbian, a biased form of social punishment because lesbianism had no place in society. An example of this on a vintage lesbian novel cover reads "What unholy bonds held two beautiful actresses in a drama that had no part for male actors? NEVER BEFORE PUBLISHED! A BRILLIANT NOVEL ABOUT THE LOVE SOCIETY RECOGNIZES BUT CANNOT FORGIVE!"
Many of the lesbian pulp novels were written by men to stimulate other men. Lesbian characters were "saved by a man" and turned straight, ended up in institutions, became alcoholics, or committed suicide. Lesbianism could not be condoned in the pulp fiction novels in this era because it violated postal obscenity codes.
Lesbian pulp fiction novels of yesteryear are hot collectibles with the cover art bringing thousands of dollars.
Sage Sweetwater novels are based on a much deeper level than the dime store novels or yesteryear lesbian pulp fiction novels. This can be said because we live in a different time and place.
Sage Sweetwater novels are a lesbian encyclopedia to the contribution of the lesbian world.
THE QUILL HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN: THE POETESS FOLLOWS.
Contribution to discovery of what
might one's Truth be
Temporal gestation severed
with ease,
Spatial peace,
The quill has a mind
of its own, the poetess

Inspiration, the

Truth is an
electronic diary
on this night,
There's always
curiosity exposing
naked skin,
Contribution to
discovery of what
might one's Truth be,
It would soften
your heart of all
the episodes in which
you played a part,
Women who own
property in their
own name,
The sexual power
they hold, the intentions
wrapped up in a blanket,
It carries the scent
of wild mint, peering up
at the sky in spacial peace,
With tendencies that
couple with women who we
recognize as one of our own...
