    RICCI - VOCALS Born August 21, 1968 - Ricci realized early in his youth that the voice is an amazing instrument and touches people emotionally. After having been a graduate in Classical Music his ambition was to become the lead singer in a Rock / Pop band. Ricci started singing in different bands with internationally renowned musicians and he also performed countless concerts at small and large theaters with them. After that he accompanied several studio projects. At the hip age of 25 and based on his {1st Place Winning} in a National Singing Competition, Ricci was offered an Academic Title to become a Vocal Coach for a studio project in Cologne which he kindly refused as this offer did not attract him enough to reflect his personal musical soul. He could only foresee living his dream and becoming a professional lead singer in a band and not as an actor behind the scene. It took Ricci several years of experience and along with the unconditional support of his family and friends he became convinced that he should do what he loves to do. "Sing!" Ricci is currently Lead Professional Singer of Sahara Rain. ADRIAN HONEGGER - GUITAR Born Jan 4, 1970. Adrian started playing electric Guitar at the age of 14 after previously blowing the Trumpet. Since that time rock music fascinated him greatly, while he retained a love for his special interest in classical music. In 1989 he moved to London to start a new life as a Professional Musician while trying to set up his own Band. During that time he visited the GAM the Guitar Academy of Music in Wapping, London for a couple of weeks. Running out of Cash and Military Service waiting for him, he was forced to go back to Switzerland. In recent years he played in various bands (Jellybeans, Bankers and Workers, Local Hero's, Device, Night Spell etc....) and started taking Jazz lessons at the Conservatorium, Zurich. Adrian always tried to complete his playing by looking into various music styles - however clearly says "When ever I play the guitar, the output will always be Rock!" Adrian Honegger is a Composer and Guitar Teacher. He also has his own business [Guitar Lessons For Modern Music] LEVENT SUNU - DRUMS Born May 29,1974 - At the young age of 8 Levent's parents gave him the opportunity to play the Xylophone however it soon became obvious that his main interest was "beating" the drums, after several rehearsals on the furnishings. Levent played various percussion instruments in a Classical Youth Orchestra consisting of 30 to 50 members for over 6 years. He started playing the drums at the age of 15. For many years to come he was playing and touring with bands performing different styles such as Thrash Metal - Rock - Funk and Jazz Rock-Fusion. [Thrash Metal Band "Caustic" published by Phonag Labels 1992] Levent studied Music in Zurich, Switzerland from 1998 until 2001 and became a Professional Music Teacher and Professional Musician. In the year 2003 he opened up his own Music School where he teaches diverse and various musical classes and he also frequently teaches at other music schools. In (2008) Levent became a Composer and Producer of various music styles. He continues to live his dream through music. Levent Sunu is currently Professional Drummer of two bands, Sahara Rain and Rockwell. BOET DE HAAS - BASS May 16, 1956 Born in Holland. At the age of 10 his first band was in elementary school playing the drums. Boet's first steps musically were playing the guitar at the age of 11, taught to him by none other than his parents. In the early years his favorite bands then were The Monkeys, The Beatles, and all that hippie 60's revolutionary music called flower power! His interests included artists who performed at Woodstock, such as Jefferson Airplane and Yes. To Quote Boet: "They played it! - I listened to it!" When Boet was age 13 he played in a high school cover band switching from drums to guitar. The band was performing artists such as Ten Years After, CCR, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and of course Boet's all time favorite rock band The Faces. [How to be a fun rock band! Here's to you plonk!!!] He landed at the bass guitar which is now his 'Soup Du Jour'. In the beginning of the 80's after a decennial of schools, study and work Boet started acting and singing in the Dutch National Revue and also studied Caberet. He took bass lessons with Henk Arts in Utrecht Holland {Where else?!}. He then moved to Switzerland where he played in local cover bands and took lessons by Ulie Heinzler at the ACM in Zürich. Playing bass and making music started to get more serious when he joined Wild East in the year 2000. He is currently Professional Bassist of Sahara Rain. BO REBSAMEN - KEYBOARDS Born Jan 27,1965 in Zurich, Switzerland. Bo Rebsamen kicked off his musical career 30 years ago as a guitarist. Only a few years later he was inspired by the #1 hit song "Jump" by rock band legends Van Halen. Bo was drawn to Progressive rock bands that pushed {rock's technical and compositional boundaries}. He knew that keyboards are an [essential] part of a great rock band. Bo Rebsamen is a self taught keyboardist. Listening to hits like "Runaway" from Bon Jovi or "The Final Countdown" from Europe soon confirmed his decision. Inspired by many 1970's and 80's rock bands such as Asia, Yes, Jaded Heart and Signal, Bo gained many Professional Music experiences and years to attribute after having played in various bands like Mistery, Night Rider, Night Spell, Starship, Tic-Tac-Toe and Turn The Key. Bo Rebsamen's name became outstanding one within the Swiss Rock Scene. He also toured in Germany with the [legendary Swiss band] Crystal Ball. Bo has achieved a mile stone in Swiss Rock History and in his personal career with his latest project as the Professional Keyboard Player of a great rock band Sahara Rain. DAVE SILHANEK - GUITAR Born Sep 22.1959 in Prague. Dave grew up with classic, jazz and eastern music. At the age of 12 he received his first guitar which infected him more and more with the music virus. Dave soon started performing with local bands and formed his own groups varying from heavy space rock to [Anarcho-Metalllatinjazz-Music]. After having immigrated to Switzerland he discovered Black Sabbath, Charlie Parker, Jimi Hendrix, John Colterane, Led Zeppelin, Miles Davis and Santana. Dave discovered music styles such as funk and punk rock. In the 80's he lived in Berlin, New York, Paris and in the Caribbean's Dave was overseeing a Music Restaurant in Sri Lanka. With the outburst of the civil war he moved to India where he spent a few years playing in a striptease bar, performing jam sessions, living as Sadhu and doing project's. He was also touring with the Outlaws which he came back to Great Britain with and eventually the group parted ways. In Switzerland he studied literature, politics and history then he went back to music {touring Spain and Portugal in a Latin band}. Come the 1990's Dave became the entrepreneur of his own Music School "Dave Silhanek's Guitar & Bass Instruction". He worked with the Gangsters in Love, Farbstoff, Subzonic, Worst Aid, Nuclear Winter, Vera Kaa, Greg Galli. He then formed Dave & The Goliaths, he also played with Wild East and he co-founded Sahara Rain.
