Classically trained but with a pop folk influence Sahreal pushes the envelope of classical/acoustic/pop to a new level. With powerful lyrics and delicate harmonies they have wooed audiences around North Staffordshire. The love of music underpinned by a creative drive has seen Sahreal work with many local artists such as Trial of Origin, So Say I and Laredo. They have used their musicianship in order to enhance and fulfil their acoustic sound sets.
Sahreal consists of two sisters who interchange instruments, composition and vocals so readily so as to develop arrange of moods and styles. Rachel, 19 is studying violin at the royal northern college of music in Manchester where she studies under Thomas Kemp. Rachel has had many opportunities to work world-renowned musicians such as Evelyn Glennie and BBC Young Musician of the Year, Mark Simpson.
Sarah, 17 studying performing arts at St Joseph’s college sixth Form, has studied piano and violin from a young age, whose powerful and poignant song writing skills has propelled Sahreal to the national final of the live and unsigned competition. Sarah’s song writing prowess helped Sahreal to defeat 10,000 applicants, and their breath taking performances have not gone unnoticed by leading experts in the music world.
