Said Visitor is a group that came together after a few important stars aligned in just the right way. Formed in February 2006, the band SLLLLOOOOOWWWWLLLLLY began working on material via the ol' Internet and a year later has emerged with an album's worth of tunes.
(if you're wondering why we worked over the Internet, it's not because we hate* each other - it's because we're spread out all over the country)
When possible, the full band gets together in the Boston area, drinks a ton of booze and locks themselves in the band room to jam - emerging only for sushi feasts and the occasional live show. And to make beer runs. We've done this a few times now and the results are always great - huge hangovers, a few song-nuggets that we all take to our respective corners of the country to work on, and some blurry pictures.
Give the songs we have posted a listen - you'll notice that two of them are by DonnyBrook and Red Cloud Revival; those are the bands that Josh sang for before Said Visitor. The third tune is by Rubikon - the band Yonze, Hughie and The Duke played with before Said Visitor. Yes, we ARE planning on working on a Said Visitor album sometime in 2007...but hey, give us some time. This whole long-distance relationship takes a bit of time. Time, love, and tenderness.
