Gofuckyourself	Jun 24 2007 5:08 PM *******please help us spread this around!!!! ATTENTION: ASSHOLE PROMOTER! Rip off alert! Band: So It Snows Hometown: Kamloops, BC. Canada Suckcess (Saskatoon) and Mesrine (Quebec City) played at "The Pavilion Theater" in Kamloops June 18th 2007. Here are some details about our show: -Not the best attendance, but not the worst. About 40 people. -The venue was charging Mesrine 15% from any merch sales and (according to So It Snows) they were also taking $1.25 per person that paid at the door. PLUS they were charging $300 on top of all that.(Which makes us wonder why anyone in their right mind would book a place like that for 2 out of town bands....?) -The first 2 bands played for at least 45 minutes each then when it was time for SUCKCESS to play the guy was telling us to make it quick because this $300 venue had to have everything wrapped up by 11 pm. -We got paid nothing. Mesrine got paid nothing. -We finally found a place to stay, the drummer from SO IT SNOWS was so nice to let us sleep on his lawn. Even though, according to his roommate, there was an extra room. He also had a front porch area that we could have slept in. BUT he wouldn't even let us enter his house, treating us like criminals. We asked for a blanket, he said no. We all realize that touring doesn't always allow for sold out shows, BUT there is never a reason to be a asshole promoter!! No place to stay (We could have set up tents anywhere, we really didnt need that dumb fucks lawn) NO GAS MONEY AT ALL!!!! 40 - 50 people at a show, the traveling band should get something. All in all (aside from a small handful of kids we met) Kamloops is not even worth stopping in, just keep driving. SO IT SNOWS will not be booked in Saskatoon, ever. Be sure to pass this along to any Canadaian/US bands/promoters planning tours/shows ets. *EVERYONE HAS
