You find no man, at all intellectual, who is willing to leave London. No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford.
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen:
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save the Queen.
O Lord, our God, arise,
Scatter her enemies,
And make them fall.
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On Thee our hopes we fix,
God save us all.
Thy choicest gifts in store,
On her be pleased to pour;
Long may she reign:
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice
God save the Queen.

Oh, I don't really know. Outdoorzy stuff (fishing, hunting, etc...). Sportzy stuff (baseball, football <"soccer" for all of you people who have not yet transcended into an englishman yet, american football. Churchy stuff (I kinda want to be a preacher or something).
Here are a few of my other favorite things
I had this video on my account a while back. I decided to put it back on. First, before I receive any hate mail, lets just think about a few things. First, these are British soldiers. The British can do no wrong, so therefore, the fault MUST lay with the children whom are getting beaten. Second, they (the children) must have DONE something to receive this beating. The British are a civilized and cultured group of people (unlike the Americans, im sorry to say), and they actually have reasons for doing what they do. Would you just stand by and let people throw things at you, i.e.-rocks, deadly projectiles, etc...? Most definatley not, and if you say "yes", you're lying to me and yourself. God Save the Queen!
Music
"We don't like their sound, and guitar music is on the way out." (Decca Recording Company rejecting the Beatles on 1 January 1962). Thats got to be the funniest/most ignorant quote I have ever heard in my life. You know the guy who said that has been kicking himself in the ass ever since!
It's really simple. For my number one pick, I must have the Beatles. There could really be no one else.
Now, ofcourse I like other music. It really depends on what kind of mood I am in. Here is a little list of my other favorites. Enjoy....
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Ludwig van Beethoven
Pink Floyd
Elvis Presley
Allman Brothers
Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR)
Movies
My first selection would have to be Schindler's List. This film is an absolute masterpiece.
Suppose the rest of the list might read something like this.....
Yeah, I usually try and go for the classics.
Television
I like to channel surf, but there is one show I do not miss........ Other than that, I enjoy the History channel, The Chicago Cubs Chicago Bears , and the Chicago Bulls. I also enjoy anything educational that might be found on the Discovery Channel or the Learning Channel.
Books
Ofcourse, I will always have the Holy Bible as my number one pick. It gives a detailed account of the life and times before our Lord's birth sometime around 4 BC, during the life of Christ, and after His death sometime around 33 AD.
I mostly enjoy books dealing with either history - religion - or the all time favorite classics, such as the Christmas Carol , , ,
I also enjoy a little bit of Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, and a few other of the classic writers.
Heroes
My "Hero List" could go on for miles. A hero is somebody you look up to and admire. Here is a list of my "Top Five" I have two historic military figures, one musical figure and one politician, and one inventer. - Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson Another would be Prime Minister of England during the Second World War, Winston Churchill Another would be Field Marshal Erwin Rommel The fourth one on the list is Johannes Gutenburg. Gutenburg invented the printing press in 1447. It revolutionized the way we live and altered the world from then on. He was also listed as the most influential person of the entire last millennium. The fifth and final is the greatest accomplished musical composer of all time, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

About me: First of all, lets get one thing straight. In reference to my headline...I was not "willing" to leave London. Who in God's name is "willing" to leave that place? I was forced to. Uncle Sam said go and I pretty much had to. Yeah, I put up a good fight but when he says go, thats something you have to do.
Well, it finally happened. I didn't think it would but it did.......I left England on the 21st of October. I had a two month "lay over" in Jacksonville NC while I attended Field Medical Service School (FMSS). Thats the place they send RPs to train with the Marines. It was actually kind of fun. We got to play war games and you all know how much I like to do that. It wasn't bad but did it compare to the greatest city on earth? I think that question doesn't even deserve the right to be answered, so we'll do just leave it at that. I was stationed down in Gulfport, MS. Again, its not a bad little place but in no way does it compare to London. London is the greatest city on Earth and it has been since the 16th century! New York, Paris, Moscow, Tokyo....yeah right.....give me a fucking break. Mere child's play compared to London. I am now on a 6 month deployment to the Middle East. Its quite a drastic change for the city life. There isn't much here but sand tents and more sand. I should be getting back to the states sometime in late August.
Where to begin...I was born on 20 april in a small northern Indiana town called Munster. (Its a small town in the Northwest corner of Indiana). I moved down to Kentucky when I was only about 3 years old and have called Franklin home for the past 22 years. I went through school and upon graduation from Franklin Simpson High School in 1999, I went to Western Kentucky University. I graduated in May of 2005 with a degree in Religious Studies and History. After that, I enlisted in the United States Navy. I have an incredibly supportive mother and father, two older sisters and a younger brother. On top of that, I also have two brother-in-laws, both with the name "Jason" and two young nephews, Ethan and Daniel. I had a lovely girlfriend by the name of Lisa and she lives in England. Other than that, I am a pretty calm fellow. Anything else you want to know, just ask.
OH BRITANNIA -
When Britain first at Heav'n's command
Arose from out the azure main;
This was the charter of the land,
And guardian angels sang this strain;
Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves:
Britons never will be slaves.
The nations not so blest as thee,
Shall in their turns to tyrants fall;
While thou shalt flourish great and free,
The dread and envy of them all.
Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves:
Britons never will be slaves.
Still mor majestic shalt thou rise,
More dreadful from each foreign stroke;
As the loud blast that tears the skies,
Serves but to root thy native oak.
Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves:
Britons never will be slaves.
Thee haughty tyrants ne'er shall tame,
All their attempts to bend thee down
Will but arouse thy generous flame;
But work their woe, and thy renown.
Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves:
Britons never will be slaves.
To thee belongs the rural reign;
They cities shall with commerce shine;
All thine shall be the subject main,
And every shore it circles thine.
Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves:
Britons never will be slaves.
The Muses, still with freedom found,
Shall to thy happy coast repair;
Blest Isle! With matchless beauty crowned,
And manly hearts to juide the fair.
Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves:
Britons never will be slaves.
Who I'd like to meet: Ladies and Gentlemen......The Beatles!!
Only not yet. I still want a few good years here on Earth before I go up and see Him.
Dear Friends, Family, and Sangha,
In recent news Guruji Palden Dorje is planning on coming out of his meditation to give blessing and protest the slaying of thousands of animals. These animals are slaughtered in the ancient hindu ritual of Gadhi Mai. The porpoise of his protest is not to stop religious practice, but to stop the killing of animals.
