About me:
I am the Son of Cleophas, who died a martyr, and Mary who stood at the foot of the Cross, and who annointed Christ's body after death, and I am the brother of Saint James the Lesser. Mary and Joseph are my aunt and uncle. I used to be a fisherman before i became an Apostle.
I have written a canonical letter, preached in Syria, Mesopotamia, and Persia with Saint Simon. I am a healer and an exorcist. I could exorcise pagan idols, which caused the demons to flee and the statues to crumble.
My patronage of lost or impossible causes traditionally derives from confusion by many early Christians between me and Judas; they couldn't understand the difference between our names, so they never prayed for my help, and devotion to me became something of a lost cause.
