Intuition is the gut feeling we get in our stomach. It is the strong feeling we receive telling us to do something or to stay away from doing something else. We KNOW what is right or wrong for us. We hold the answers within us. Somewhere along the way many of us gave our power away to others. Perhaps by turning to others for answers and discounting our own knowingness. Perhaps we grew up in families where we were told what to do, how to do it and were not encouraged to think and feel for ourselves. Other times we've had bad experiences and began to doubt or mistrust our own judgment and intuition.
Following your intuition is about letting life in trusting yourself and the process of life. Knowing that there are no mistakes, just experiences. Knowing that only you know what is best for you. Turning inward when you have a decision to make and listening to what you body tells you, trusting your feelings and being in the divine flow of life to see where you are guided.

Intend rather than try. I know that intentions have had a poor reputation in the world. Of course, there is intending and intending. Nevertheless, I ask you to intend more.

Think not of intention as a promise you make. Think not of intention as a result you must obtain. Just think of intention as something that requires nothing of you but to have it. Rather think of intention as a seed you plant. Think of intention as a dream you have. Think of it as a picture you have before you. Think of it like a premonition.

Intentions are powerful. Intention is one of the powers I have placed within you.

Of course, by intention, I do not mean a to-do list. With the intentions I refer to, all you have to do is to think of them. They will apply themselves.

Here are samples of the sort of intention I have in mind for you. Have these ideas in mind. Think the following. Even say them to yourself:

"I create harmony wherever I go."

"I like people."

"Life is easy for me."

"The world offers me great opportunity."

"I am happy today."

"I am happy everywhere."

"I give happiness."

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.

Take kindly to the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.

About me:

For those of you who don't know me, I consider myself to be an 'idealist'. It is my life's mission to make this world a better and safer place for everyone, most especially for those with 'silent voices' or 'no voice'. I care greatly about the big ideas and issues as well as the lives of people affected by them. I believe children are our future and it is up to us as mature adults to guide them (all) as if they were our own. No one should ever be judged by race, creed, color or religion. For the apathetic people of this world it is YOU who I feel sorry for!

In recent studies it has been proven that most children do want our time and guidance. For some,they crave it and will do anything to get it. This often results in harmful and bad decision making. A LITTLE BIT OF TIME GOES A LONG WAY! If we were to devote some of our time and effort into the children & I mean ALL the children that we can possibly reach out to, this world would be & could be a little bit brighter for all. Many problems that our youth & society (as a whole) are facing could be solved to a certain degree. Children need to know that we 'LOVE' them,'BELIEVE' in them,'WANT' to be around them, 'CARE' about their future, and genuinely 'VALUE' their feelings. They need to 'FEEL' wanted and know that we are 'COMMITTED' to them. Not just going through the motions.

It is up to us to guide them through all the bumps in the road and all of the obstacles with love, discipline, commitment and dedication so that they have a chance to grow into healthy, educated, empathetic members of society. Most people believe they have enough on their plate when it comes to their own homes. They have nothing to left to spare. You would be surprised how far a little time, guidance and love will take a child and it doesn't always have to come down to the God almighty dollar. Money can¡¯t buy love or happiness. It just sugarcoats the real issues. We need to committ to the root of the problem and make sure our children have a bright & safe future to look forward too.

How are you my friend? I am hanging in there. I just found out my son has heart disease. His valve is leaking and he only has two instead of three we are born with...I just can't believe no Doctors have found this out before. Hes been living with this since he was born. He is 17 years old. The Cardioligist told me if I hadn't taken him when I did he could have had a stroke on me. Thank God I took him when I did. Its so scary to think of what could have happened. I'm so drained emotionally. I pray that your doing better at your end. Sending you lots of love my friend. God bless you always. Your in my thoughts. Love you. Muahs and hugs....
