Or one of those tragically hip indie films that people think they're cool for watching. I do love older bad movies though, like Can't Stop the Music and anything with Patrick Swayze. They're horrible yet addictive, like Fritos or crack. Also Napoleon Dynamite, Thin Red Line, Unbreakable, Queen Christina, Caddyshack, Halloween, They Live, Hollywood Shuffle, anything gory, anything I wasn't allowed to watch growing up (which wasn't much, believe me). | | Television | Right now I'm watching Dukes of Hazzard, though not by choice. Deadwood alone is worth the price of subscription cable. House is pretty awesome, as is Chappelle's Show, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force, the first four seasons of which I own and watch far more often than could possibly be healthy. And now I have Tom Goes to the Mayor which means I won't be getting out of the house anytime soon. | | Books | Ulysses, The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, Empire Falls, The Namesake, In the Realm of a Dying Emporer, Cruddy, Valley of the Dolls, This is the Way the World Ends, The White Trash Cookbook, Akbar and Jeff's Guide to Life, When She Was Bad, zines galore, anything by Elmore Leonard or David Sedaris, countless others I can't think of off the top of my head.

I watch a lot of old MST3K episodes I have on tape. I enjoy nickel slots and free cocktails. I think Bruce Cambell is a criminally underrated actor. There's a bus stop that's pretty close to my apartment, but it smells like pickled anus, so I usually walk to another one that's farther away. Unless it's raining, then I just hold my breath until the bus comes. I have three cats and one husband, and they usually take up all the space on the futon, so I have to sit in the brown chair, which is comfortable but poorly angled for TV watching. I have completed Mappy up to level 14. I keep running into my Logic professor at the liquor store. I usually drink about 7 cups of coffee per day. I need a haircut. My left elbow really hurts where I bashed it on the counter a couple of hours ago, while I was making salsa. It really pisses me off that commercials on TV are so ridiculously loud, and that it seems like they've all started using the same tinkly, wistful music, music that sounds like it's from the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack, no matter what they're selling. Screw you, ad guys! I will not be purchasing your Hagen Daas or pregnancy tests or digital cable subscription services! I have broken many, many video game controllers. I own over 27 pounds of teeshirt. I like tangerines. I'm currently on my third beer for the night.
