ENGLISH BIOGRAPHY:

Saintsinner were born in March 2006 by the meeting between Giacomo Baroni, a guitar player from Novara, and Dario Vanoli, a bass player from Magenta. They both decided to create a musical project with strong references to power metal, in particular the old school of this genre. To the project immediately joined Stefano Vallino, formerly drummer from Swine, a hard rock band from Novara, and old friend of Giacomo. Even if there wasn’t a singer yet, they tried their first rehearsals, in which were played some covers from the most important influence of the band, the Germans Helloween. Then they started playing also covers from their second important influence, Gamma Ray. After this period they found their singer in Umberto Franzini, another fan of power metal. This line-up lasted for 9 months, in which the band’s members kept on practising their covers and improved their musical technique. They created a great friendship too. Then, in December, the singer Umberto quit the band, because of some incomprehensions and misunderstandings, and Andrea Serafini, an old Dario’s friend, took his place. In this period joined the band, as second guitar player, Andrea Taffelli, another Dario’s friend and schoolmate. A week after this radical changes, their first demo was recorded in Musik Factory, a recording studio in Magenta. After this experience, the band started composing new songs and playing in live concerts in the Novara’s district during 2007, until, in January 2008, they decided to record their first official debut album at Musik Factory: "New Places". In October 2008 Stefano Vallino and Andrea Taffelli, because of some different points of view about their future musical projects, quit. To replace them came Claudio Serafini (ex-Eternal Winter and member of Blind Fate) as drummer and as keyboardist Ivan Sampietro, who will help the band in changing its sound and increasing its musical influences.

Il gruppo Saintsinner nasce nel marzo del 2006, in seguito all’incontro in sala prove del chitarrista Giacomo Baroni e del batterista Stefano Vallino col bassista Dario Vanoli. Subito i tre decidono di creare un progetto musicale con forti riferimenti alla musica heavy metal classica e power metal più pura, non sconfinante nel moderno power metal, trovando in gruppi quali Helloween, Gamma Ray la propria ispirazione. Dopo breve tempo venne assoldato il singer Umberto Franzini, amante anch’egli dei gruppi di cui sopra e della musica metal il più possibile melodica. Questa formazione fu stabile per ben 9 mesi, nei quali la band si concentrò esclusivamente nella proposizione maggiormente fedele di cover dei due gruppi, giungendo dunque ad una grande coesione fra i componenti della band, oltre che un aumento delle capacità tecniche. Poi, a dicembre dello stesso anno, in seguito ad alcune incomprensioni, il cantante Umberto venne sostituito, su consenso degli altri componenti della band, dal maggiormente esperto e singer professionista Andrea Serafini. Alla band si aggiunse, quale chitarrista ritmico, Andrea Taffelli. Una settimana soltanto dopo questo radicale cambio di line-up, venne registrata la prima demo di cover di Helloween e Gamma Ray al Musik Factory di Magenta, ottenendo un già discreto risultato per una band ancora in fase di ottimizzazione. Dopo questa esperienza la band si è messa al lavoro sulla composizione di nuovi pezzi e ha affrontato diversi concerti e raccolto moltissimi consensi che hanno portato la band alla stesura del primo lavoro ufficiale: "New Places". Nell'Ottobre del 2008 Stefano Vallino e Andrea Taffelli lasciano la band a causa di incogruenze musicali a proposito del futuro della band. I loro sostituti sono Claudio Serafini alla batteria (ex-Eternal Winter ed attuale membro dei Blind Fate) ed il tastierista Ivan Sampietro, grazie al quale il sound della band potrà spostarsi su sonorità ancora più innovative e ricercate.
