SAINT SPIRIT is a Thrash/Death metal band, with Christians message in your lyrics , that aims at to lead to publishes the message of a Cross of Christ, without demagogies, dogmas and preconceptions. Something very beyond the one that any doctrine or ideology can present. We are saying of the relief and shelter for as many indifferences, as much death, as much hunger, as much religious manipulation of that deceives the weak ones and oppressed on behalf of a false god. We believe a message capable to bring life and real life, stronger than death.
Formed in 1994, in Riom de Janeiro/Brazil , SAINT SPIRIT has influences of bands as Sepultura, Slayer, Pantera and Napalm Death. In 2003, the band recorded its debut "Agaisnt Saints and Sinners", reaching excellent critical in the press. The band get in the road in successful tour for the Brazilian Southeast. In 2005, they recorded your second album, "The Ways of Faith", with musics more directed toward the Thrash Core, keeping the extreme essence. This album made with that the band most carried through its succeeded tour, "Bulldogs on Tour 2005/2006", with more than 50 shows in the Brazil.
Nowdays the band is Ricardo Esch (guitars), Eudes Diaz (bass) and Rodrigo Bizoro (drums/vocal), the band this in phase of writing of its third album, "REPRISE", a EP that homages the main bands of world-wide Christian scene. Bands as Bride, Living Sacrifice and DC Talk, with release preview for April of 2007
