Anything fun, interesting, adventurous, intriguing, educational, empowering, enlightening, altruistic, good hearted, open minded, kind intentioned, or well thought out.
Love all sorts of kind hearts, do-gooders, muckrakers, non-judgemental types and those who tend their own garden. Living and let living and watching your loved ones' backs. Musn't forget
dancing, the moon, the ocean, the mountains, the fog, the open road, the home fire, the trusty old banister, the words, the light and an exploring child, quietly painting or stirring mud cakes.
Excuse the slide show...what the hell right? ;-)

"If I can't dance, I don't want to be part of the revolution" - Emma Goldman...and I love this quote from the Dalai Lama: "I always believe that it is much better to have a variety of religions, a variety of philosophies, rather than one single religion or philosophy. This is necessary because of the different mental dispositions of each human being. Each religion has certain unique ideas or techniques, and learning about them can only enrich one's own faith." And one more, from Rita Hayworth..."All the men I knew went to bed with Gilda and woke up with me."
About me: California country girl, independent single mom, businesswoman, bbw, ex surf/skate chick, punk rock glam rockabilly blues boogie woogie club girl and local poet. I write, I dance, I love the beach, the mountains, clean water and air, good music, honesty, loyalty, kids, horses, dogs, cats, dolphins, otters, primates, any kind of sunset or sunrise. I like the road, being home, finding adventure, meeting new people, and uncovering truth, beauty and goodness wherever I can find it. I care about the environment, and feel like American citizens can do better in hiring our leaders. I feel as John Adams and Thomas Jefferson did - that education is as vital to our country as defense. I believe people are essentially good. I hope, one day, the citizenry will wake up and take back the power from these spendthrift leaders who are looting the treasury for their own ends and leading us down a path of destruction. Might have to be the writers, musicians, artists and philosphers who lead the way, as history has shown, but we'll get there. I'm outspoken, fun loving, sexy, sensuous, voluptuous and, to quote the young dancer in Hairspray, "I can dance to Lawrence Welk if I have to!" Music is in my bones, my soul and my blood. Stay gold...
Who I'd like to meet: New friends, business contacts, fellow writers. A man strong enough to wrangle a strong woman, who likes or wants kids, maybe a single father. Prefer someone my own age or older, a kind heart, a moral compass, and a lust for life. Extra credit for being articulate, smart, funny, honest, loyal, trustworthy, gritty, down to earth, creative, responsible, independent, considerate, adventurous, sexy, handy, skilled, talented or gutsy. Someone who can appreciate an ample woman, a good song, story, poem, or other work of art, a foreign country, home, and the wonder in a child's eyes.
