As one in a family of eight {I have five siblings, I am the second born}, I have a great love of family and a desire to one day {I pray soon} have an even larger family.
In 2009 I plan to travel to China with "Bring Me Hope" to spend two weeks as a volunteer at a camp for orphaned children. Lord willing, I will have the money by the deadline and be set to go when the plane leaves.
I am crazy about hockey,and cheer for the Anaheim Ducks.
During the summer months, I can often be found at the local Renaissance festivals.

yea we just bought a house out in new baltimore. thomas is great he is just over 16 months and getting big quick. he is learning new things almost every day and loves to get into everything. he likes to go on walks and wander off on his own and see everything he is not very big on people in general unless he knows them well which can be seen as a good thing. tom is good still in detroit but liking his job, or at least most days he does. and me i havent been working just staying home with thomas however when we move to our new house i will have to find a part time one to keep up with the bills. that's ok though it will be nice to feel like i am keeping busy. so the next few months are going to be crazy busy.

I will have nightmares now, thanks to that very disturbing bumper sticker you just gave me. Please note, however, that I added it to my bulletin board! I booted Cinderella so that freak could fit! Shudder.

Maybe I'll try the CD on Grandma's computer in case it's just a problem with ours. Not sure when I'll be at her house again but will let you know after trying.
Getting very excited about the trip... as I can tell you are about the Ducks game. You're making cookies, so I am guessing that you will get to meet with the players to personally present your gift!? That would (or will)be very cool for you, Carm!
How is everything else? Is your family, grandma and everybody, doing well? Your plans are on track? We are praying for the Lord to keep providing and leading your way to China this summer!
Today, I'm meeting with the insurance company to get the payment for car repairs. Also doing some house work. And shovelling snow. And working ahead in school, so I won't have so much to do while travelling. And starting to think about packing. And letting myself be a little bit more WOOOHOOO feeling, because Monday is so near. LOL.

Hey Carm!I havn't writen to in so long ,and I had some free time so i thought i would see what you have been doing of late?I hope to get my drivers licence this summer but im not a good driver at all:( so well see how that goes lol. So... what kind of laptop did you get? My uncle is actually bringing me one up from the Cities this weekend! I've been looking at getting one for school, and he found a magnificent deal, with everything I need including a free printer. I'm looking forward to that. :-)
