hey...yeah i was still working at ann taylor and i picked up a part time night auditor position at the breakers hotel in rehoboth. Then they promoted me to full time night auditor at their sister hotel the alantic sands. Its really nice and right on the boardwalk and the money is great. How have you been?

Thats great Stephan. Are you coming home for the summer at all? I guess you have summer all year long, but we all miss you. I am still at five guys. I am the GM there. Josh H know you know him is thenight shift manager. we get along great, and its been a lot of fun, some headaches too...but thats all in the works of work...huh Im glad to hear from you its been too long!
Well we probably could do the summer activies 8 months out of the year but it is still a little nippy at night for sleeping outside still, plus it is technically tornado weather right now until later part of May. And with a preteen I have to either have a long weekend or summer time to do the fun stuff.
As for my preteen she is pretty good she just shoots her mouth off a little too much and it is hard to set limits with three different parents and be consistant.
My permanent area will probably be gero-psych (think old people 60 and up) most have dementia or just lost their wife/husband of 40+ years. But I am crossed trained to work in Adult Psych as well 18-59 yr olds. I prefer the older people because some of the male patients our age creep me out, and I don't ever want one of them to stalk me or do something scary because I won't give them a Xanax every hour on the hour, you know. The young group are usually drug seeking while the older group I end up chasing them and their walkers down the hall to give them their medications,
"wait mr so and so I have your pills for the day and your ativan..."
they reply, " I don't want any of them-there pills and who are you giving me my pills today".
"I met you this morning at breakfast...."
"I have never seen you before." The typical dialoge of a normal day.
But as far as actual work the work load is much easier than medical/surgical floor and the pay is the same.
I am off orientation next week, I am excited about getting my feet wet.
Other than my 11 yr old giving me a burr in my butt I have been good. I work at the Psch hospital...very interesting work. It is way easier than medical surgical floor. You only have 2 doctors not 25 running around and all the people there are nice. I get off orientation to the unit next week. But life is for the most part really going well. I am ready for summer and all the swimming and camping that goes with it. ~Holly
I'm great! Corbin got a speaking part in his school play so I'm psyched! Unfortunately the cake biz is slow. No one has money for fancy cakes. Things are good though. How's school and work and such?
