Sakkuth, one of Australia's most prominent melodic death metal bands, have returned to the studio and are set to release their much anticipated third LP. Their new album is a stunning illustration of how the band's writing skills have evolved whilst maintaining the distinct characteristics of their manifestly imposing and unashamedly brutal sound.
Written by Sakkuth over the past year and produced by the band itself, the new album reinforces the melodic characteristics already present in the band whilst taking the harder edged riffing and blast beats to the extraordinary new heights.
Sakkuth have proven themselves as a professional, tight, aggressive quintet in the live arena. Constantly creating a buzz, the band has performed over 400 shows in Australia including the prestige Metal for the brain for 7 consecutive years and Brisbane’s Over cranked festival. Sakkuth's live gigs have met critical acclaim playing alongside international acts such as Opeth, Strapping young lad, Nevermore as well as Australian heavy weights Alchemist, Damaged and Blood duster. PRS Guitars and mesa Boogie Amplifiers currently endorse Sakkuth.

Joining them are Face Of Mutiny (ex-Candy Pain), playing straight up headbanging moshalicious riffs and 8 piece experimental death/noise/industrial terrorists The Sever Project. As always, DJ Hoops will be spinning metal tunes between bands, Satan’s Bar & Grill will be serving up devilishly good cheap meals from 8-10pm and entry is FREE.
