Sakota is in charge of VJing of this band-"ROVO" since 2001. They released live DVD "LIVE at HIBIYA-YAON 2008.05.05". She edited all of this video and designed this sleeve.
This piece is the documentation of a performance featuring Yuji Katsui (of ROVO) on electric violin, and the video projections of Haruka Sakota (ex. KLOMA). This DVD presents the work of the duo, “Yuji Katsui + Haruka Sakota,” who have been working together through the band, ROVO.

All music is played by Katsui Yuji, violinist of band "ROVO".
All films directed by Sakota Haruka,
and also she is in charge of VJing of ROVO.

グラフィックデザイナー、映像作家。2000年にデザイン/映像制作チームKLOMAを結成、2001年からROVOのVJを務め、国内外のライヴやツアーに同行。これまでROVOの他に、勝井祐二、EGO WRAPPIN'、ohana、A Hundred Birdsなど数々のアーティストのPVやアートワークを制作。one dot zero、cinefeel、Edinburgh International Film Festivalなど国際的な映画祭での作品上映や、メディアアートの祭典Ars Electronicaへの参加などで、海外からも注目を集める。2006年にKLOMA解散。 迫田悠名義で活動を始め、ライヴや舞台の映像演出、PV製作にも積極的に取り組む。 2007年には手塚治虫氏の大作「火の鳥」をモチーフにしたSystem7の新曲 「Hinotori」を、保谷ひばり、渡部暁と共に「ムー℃マジック」名義で映像化。この作品はHolland Animation Film Festival 2008の上映作品に選ばれた。
Sakota is in charge of VJing for ROVO shows, and has traveled with the band since 2001. She has created music videos and motion graphics for live performance of artists such as ROVO, Yuji Katsui, ohana, A hundred birds and EGO-WRAPPIN'. A lot of those works have been screened at events including one dot zero, Cinefeel and the Edinburgh International film festival. She also actively collaborates in the area of physical expression with people such as tap dancer Kazunori Kumagai and dancer Taiyo Tochiaki. In 2007, She formed a three person unit "mood magic" with Hoya Hibari and Watanabe akira in Tokyo. They began their work with the music video for SYSTEM 7 (UK) "HINOTORI". This film has screened at Holland Animation Film Festival 2008, and featured in the world famous DVD magazine "STASH 53".
