Sakura Madams is a musical project from singer / songwriter / bass vixen Yukino. Living in New York for over 10 years, Yukino has performed in numerous local rock bands including Animallink and Kino. Sakura Madams' music represents the primal yet sensual feelings of Asian women as related through everyday experiences. The music is a mix of rock and blues layered with sultry funk. Compositions cover everyday life experiences from love to anger to honesty. Each song has a special message, from the inspirational 'Mezameyo' to the seductive 'Checkin' You Out' to the darker 'Flying'.
This diversity creates a funky sound that can only be Sakura Madams.
...It's basic, dirty, old school funk complete with imperfections and it couldn't be more perfect if you made it in a lab. - Ross Parker (Verbicide Magazine)
Just found my Sakura Madams CD/DVD from the first shows I saw of you. I'm going to load the tunes on my Ipod so I can take the SK sounds everywhere. I hope all is well. See you soon (can't be soon enough.) Philip

Konbanwa! T-mode will be back in April 2010. I would love to see you ladies perform again. And you should bring a new CD with songs and I'll totally buy it! ^_^
Hooray (yatta!) on the new album. I'm very excited. Will you ladies be at Sakura Matsuri in DC in April? I hope to leave the confines of home and work for it until convention season starts up for me again. Anyway, if I don't hear back from you that's okay but remember I think you all are super.
And I was the #2 girl at the T-MODE concert. Just wanted to say you guys rocked and I had so much fun. Thank you so much!! You bring such a great energy to the stage and I enjoyed meeting you.
Hi! Remember me? I was #1 at your T-mode concert; the girl with the iPhone. ^_^
I wanted to say how much I enjoyed your concert. It was definitely one of the best! If you guys ever manage to make it Baltimore or Belcamp Maryland I wouldn't mind seeing you again. You're a funky bunch!
