Trying to spend a little more time on here keeping up with everybody. So much time, so little to do. Need more coffee!
I'm an Appalachian expatriot who moved to Northern VA a year or so ago. My wife Emily and I enjoy hanging out with our three pets--our cats Bea and Willow, and our dog Maggie. I'm originally from Coeburn, a town in Southwest Virginia. From there, I've traced a path from one side of the state to the other; attending and graduating from Emory and Henry College in Emory (good times), living for several years in Roanoke (the Star City of the South!) and most recently in Alexandria. City life is good, but I sure miss the mountains!
Who I'd like to meet: Just about anybody, really. It's always good to meet new people and see old friends.
i've started a mass e-mail and gotten responses from your mom, beth & andrew and tom & amanda...there might be more, but i haven't checked that address in a couple of days!
i sent it to emily's address, btw...let me know if you all have ideas!!! :)
OH! That's great! Thomas says he'll let you have a pass this time. We will be in D.C. Veteran's Day weekend. Hope we can plan something up. Don't know about holidays yet...still trying to move. One of us will let you know soon.
Congrats on the casa. We'll have to come up and christen your house. The Bo will have to christen the powder room at midnight, hand soap pump style. I'll pour a little of my drink out for my home slice this weekend.
Stamp and I are doing well. Just really busy with school and planning the wedding. I'm working on my comprehensive exam right now, so I'm a little stressed out. Are you and Emily going to make it down to Mom and Dad's for Jamie's baptism? Just wondering since that's your anniversary.
