The Bastard child spawned from the band Elevator, The Salamanders have survived puberty and are now ready to walk the mean streets without the aid of mace spray. After much debate and a 48hr drinking session followed by a game of "I" spy the new band name (The Salamanders) was created.
With the addition of new member Mark Johnston on guitar The Salamanders are now a 5 piece: Karl Bilby/Vocals, Jason Powell/Bass, Adam Powell/Guitar, Mark Johnston/Guitar and Paul Lester/Drums. The band have been out and purchased fetching amp leads and rumor has it, new strings. Stay tuned for gig details.
