About me:

Hello myspacers! I'm Sarah, how are you today? Now, I have a tendency to babble when I'm doing these things, so if I go off on some bizarre rant just stop reading! Although you probably have already...teehee.

Anyways, to make this a little easier for me & for you, I'm gonna do it in neat little bullet points & each point will tell you a little fact about me. Sweet, eh?

♦ Right well, maybe I should just try to basically sum myself up in fewer words for those of you who can't be bothered reading through my profile & I don't blame yer! ;)
My main passions in life are animals, music & comedy... So you can usually find me with my pets', rocking out, playing my keyboard, singing badly, watching comedy & just generally acting like a complete & utter imbecile! There you go..me in a nutshell, but if you wanna know more...in depth..carry on reading, muckers! ;)

♦ My main obsessions at the moment are The Simpsons (well, that's ALWAYS been an obsession with me lol), Monty Python & The Cure :)

♦ So yeah, I'm an animal lover. Always have been. I've always wanted to work with them & it stuck. I went to college & studied the National Diploma in Animal Management. Hoping to carry on training in animal care very soon or get a good job within the animal care industry. Ooooh, get me!!!

♦ My Favourite Animals are Cats & Wolves.

♦ I have four animals of my own who I love like they were my own kids.
They are:-

Cuter than cute they are! Drive me around the bend sometimes though! But I love them & they mean the absolute world to me. Anyone who knows me will know how much I adore my strange lil' critters! Or "My Lil' Mischief Army of the Night!" as I like to call them.

♦ I can abit of an homebody, I feel at my best when I'm with my family & friends. Don't get on as much as I used to with my family, but my big sister, Emma is my absolute angel, god knows where I'd be without her, she's a sister, a second mum & a best friend all in one! I love her so much & she does so much for me. I don't deserve her.
Love all my mates too, don't see them all as much as I'd like but they know I love em'! & They know who they are!

♦ I've lived my whole life in my hometown of St. Helens, in the tiny village of Haydock in the same house....*sigh* I wanna get out of this town sooo much, it smells, it's as rough as a bear's arse, it's full of chavs & I hate it! My plan is to move to the wonderful city of Leeds, when my life let's me & everything is dandy enough to make the leap! Can't come quick enough!!!

♦ I'm currently in abit of a mess career wise. I'm un-employed & broke. But I do know I wanna work with animals. Eiether a Veterinary Nurse or an RSPCA Inspector.

♦ I'm so proud to be a northerner, all the best people are from the north of England...& we're friendlier. haha! No offence to our southern cousins, of course. :)

♦ I'm a HUGE comedy fan! Since being a kid really, watching Sean's Show, Vic & Bob, Morecambe & Wise & Laurel & Hardy. It started a life long love affair with comedy. I love all sorts.
My favourite comedy would be, well, anything with Vic & Bob in it really... I'm a long time fan of the boys (can you tell? lol), watched them since being a kid. Bob was my first crush! hehe! One of the best comedy double acts ever! To me it goes... Laurel & Hardy, Morecambe & Wise, Reeves & Mortimer & that's it. No one else comes close. Loved everything they have ever done & they're so cute & silly. Me all over! They're comedy legends & should be on telly more again! I'm missing them like hell...the state our comedy is in today, it's needs them back! They could show all these new ones how it's all done! If I had to choose a fave thing of theres, it's really hard but I think it'd have to be Big Night Out...

♦ Speaking of Vic & Bob, I've recently turned into abit of a Vic Reeves "Fangirl"...it's took me 15 years for some reason but I've suddenly just fell in love with him! haha! Of course, I've always loved him to pieces, but it's only lately that I've been seeing him in a different way...it's weird but I'm learning to accept that I am now one his fan girl bitches! haha! He just seems like the "perfect man", he always dresses smart, he's halirious, he's sweet, he's handsome & he's very unique, a natural performer, different & eccentric! I'd say that is everything you could want in a man...well, everything I'd want anyway! haha! Eiether way, I've always looked upto him, he's accomplished alot & I'll always be an admirer! :D & being gorgeous helps, too! ;)

♦ I've not so long since got into Monty Python! My Dad has always been a big fan of it & still quotes it...& my sister has been a fan of Graham Chapman since she was a kid but still it's took me till NOW to get into it properly & I LOVE IT to pieces! I just instantly took to it & the guys themselves & I'm enjoying it so, so much! Both Flying Circus & their films are just brilliant! & The guys themselves seem so sweet & they were so different for the time. I love them all but Eric Idle is definately my fave member, he cracks me up completely & has a great, cheeky, devilish humour that I always love. He's very cute & extremely funny....& Graham Chapman is a close second. :) But as I said, they all seem like awesome guys & I'm gonna continue to enjoy it! :D

♦ & Thanks to Monty Python, I discovered the fabulous "Rutles'" I am literally obsessed with that film, I watch it whatever chance I get...Dirk McQuickly is just the best! lol! & There's some fab music in it too from the genius that is Mr. Neil Innes. The whole thing is genius really, I really love it! & I'm not even a Beatle's fan...they are my Beatles'! haha!

AND again, thanks to Monty Python, I discovered the wonderful Rutland Weekend Television also by Eric Idle & Neil Innes! Just brilliant! hehe!

♦ I'm a big fan of stand up comedy. My fave stand up comedian is Sean Hughes (of course) Followed by Lee Mack. My other faves are Eddie Izzard, Bill Bailey, Jack Dee.... & probably loads of others that I can't think of right now!

♦ I couldn't live without music! I honestly couldn't. I swear to god, the more that time is marching on, the more I just love the music drug....I have such a wide range of fave music (you only have to look at the BIG list over there to see that. I'll listen to anything really old stuff, new stuff doesn't really matter aslong as it's music. Aslong as it's not any of that R'n'B/Rap crap. That shouldn't even be classed as music! My fave stuff is rock music/indie/guitar bands/electro/alternative/80's. But I definately think that rock music beats it all at the end of the day. I LOVE ROCK!!! I love alot of classic rock too like T.Rex/Marc Bolan & Foreigner & the like. I'm always nicking my Dad's albums. I'm a proper Rock Chick! ROCK ON!!! haha!

♦ My Fave band of all time is the Kaiser Chiefs. They changed my view on music completely & to me, no one is better than them right now & probably never will be. I love them! All three of their albums are amazing, I've had the best times of my life at their gigs, I've met some great people thanks to them, they're lovely lads & their music has helped me through some rough times over the past couple of years. Long may them reign! CHIEFS, CHIEFS, CHIEFS!!! hehehe!
Image Hosted by ImageShack.usImage Hosted by ImageShack.us

♦ Well, all that being said about the Kaiser Chiefs, it seems that they've come up against some competition in recent months, well since last september...from the magnificent band "The Cure." I've just feel like I've really connected to their music in a way that I've never connected to any music ever before. It feels extremely strange but so wonderful at the same time. I've never known anything like it, it's just something else. Their music has helped me so much these past few months, even when things have been really terrible, it's somehow helped me feel better... & To anyone who thinks their "emo, goth or gloomy" or any other stereotype that people seem to want to pin on everything nowadays...then just remember that they come from a time when all that didn't exsist & didn't matter, it wasn't like that then. & They're actually very funny & nice guys. ;) Robert Smith is an amazing man, probably the world's best frontman. He has god-like talent. ;) He's beautiful inside & out...& yes, I'll admit I've developed abit of a crush on him but who wouldn't eventually? lol ;) So yeah, they're in danger of taking over as my favourite band, it's certainly feeling that way...but only time will tell, I guess...

♦ I'm currently learning to play the keyboard! Well, it's re-learning really...I played abit at school but it kinda got side-lined when I left. But I picked it up again & I'm lovin' it! I have my own keyboard...called Alfie & he's my baby! haha!

♦ I love everything about the 80's era. Especially the music! Even though I wasn't actually born until 1987. I just see stuff & think, wow! & I would have loved to have been the age I am now, in say...1984. The music is the best, the fashion was crazy, but I love it & I may be wrong but everything just seemed alot better then.

Don't worry I'm not one of these weirdos into all that black stuff...I mean good, nice stuff like appreciating nature, love & good luck spells, you know, white magic. I could watch it forever, it's just so funny, it never fails to cheer me up! I just wish that Homer would marry me! There would never be a dull moment haha! My fave characters are Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders, Homer, Maggie & Bart. I hope it goes on forever! Simpsons forever!

♦ I adore going to Theme Parks like Camelot, Alton Towers & Blackpool Pleasure Beach & going on all the big scary rides. I'm a white knuckle junkie! The best is The Big One at Blackpool, scares you to death, but what a rush! haha!

♦ I love going to Blackpool....

♦ I'm a sucker for guys who can make me laugh! & Rockers! That's why almost all of my crushes in the past have been on comedians...or rockers...haha!

♦ I love to make people laugh.

♦ It's always been abit of a dream of mine to become an actress/comedy actress/rockstar or any kind of performer really. I love to sing, even though I don't think I can..hehe. I did have singing lessons once though. I'd love to learn how to dance too! I know working with animals is my "calling" as they say, but acting/comedy/music will always be the dream.

    Hey stranger danger hehe

Saw a great film on dvd last night that I immediately thought 'oh Sal would like this' its called Career Girls, and its directed by the genius-In my eyes anyho-Mike Leigh.

Its a bit old now, made in 97, but it follows 2 girl friends meeting up and flashes back to their time as students in 87-91 when they were both obsessed with The Cure!

Fair bit of Cure music in there, but best of all an amazing heartbreaking performance from Mark Benton miles away from Catterick. He's one brilliant actor
