    Salem was formed in 1979. Gigged and recorded a single and three demos - these have been released recently on a double-album. The band is now in rehearsal for further gigs and recording new material.

    Simon Saxby - vocals, Paul Macnamara - guitars, Mark Allison - guitars, Adrian Jenkinson - bass, Paul Mendham - drums. Previous band members: Paul Tognola on vocals and guitars and Paul Conyers on drums (both formerly of Ethel the Frog), and Ricky Squires on drums (formerly with dEAd ENd KIdS and Heavy Metal Kids).
