"Concopa" with Saletico, CREOLE Weltmusikfestival 2008
SALETICO ist eigentlich Sasa "Sale" Marjanovic, Drummer und Percussionist, MIDI Engineer, Loop-Sample Ersteller und im allgemeinen ein "Vollblut - Balkan - Musiker, bzw. Musikant". Im Moment setzt er die Richtung im FLAMENCO Nuevo fort, Sale ist nämlich der Percussionist der Flamenco Band CONCOPA (www.concopa.com) mit den beiden Noll - Brüdern an den Gitarren. Hier mischt er auf dem Cajon und E-drums die Balkan Beats mit Flamenco Rumba und Buleria und irgendwo geht das Ganze dann in Richtung Latin Jazz. Sale macht aber noch vieles mehr, zumal seine Wurzeln in der Balkan Ethnologie liegen, er ist geborener Serbe aus der südserbischen Stadt Nisch, lebt und arbeitet in Dortmund, in seinem normalen Leben ist er Service Engineer in der Semiconductor Industry. Als man Sale in den jungen Jahren gefragt hat, was sein Lieblingsjob ist, antwortete er mit grosser Vorstellungskraft: "Ich werde Zirkusmusikant (...und nicht "Musiker"...) bei RONCALLI"...Am meisten ist er jedoch immer mit seinen beiden Söhnen anzutreffen, die beiden sind nämlich sein "Leben", ganz und gar......................................................................... ENGLISH: SALETICO is in real Life Sasa "Sale" Marjanovic, Drummer, Percussion Player, MIDI Enginner, Loop-Sample Builder, in general a real "blazed" Balkan "Musicus". Right now he bid on FLAMENCO Nuevo within the scope of the Band CONCOPA (www.concopa.com), here he plays the Cajon and E- drums in different styles, all mixed up in Flamenco Rumba, Balkan Beats, Buleria, and it becomes something called Latin Jazz. Sale is doing much more beyond, especially followed his roots in case he is born serb from the southserbian town Nish, but he is now living and working in Dortmund (Germany). In his bourgeouis Live he is working as a Service Engineer in the Semiconductor Industry. In the past, when you have asked Sale what he will be when he grows up, he proudly have let you know this: " I wanna become a circus musikus (..and not a educated, normal musican...) at the circus RONCALLI"...the most of the time right now he spends with his two sons who are his blood, mind and life forever !!!!
