   About Sally7
I was born on the 25th of July 1984 in a little...

I'll spare you. I had my first 'gig' in November 2005, which was part of a Cloth Cat course. I like to think (euphemistically) of the 20 years before that as a gestation period. I did a few open mics after that, and finally had my first proper gig at the Cloth Cat launch party in Decemeber '06.

Since then I've played a few gigs (when people have asked me to) and it looks like I won't be disappearing. I'm (luckily) improving with every gig. Someone recently told me my 2nd gig was 'crap', and wrote this about my 5th:

Sally7 threw an original left hook at a Cranberries cover, tag teaming Kaoss Ross onto guitar. Her new material and stage presence was a shock to some of the punters, me included. Her knockout blow, Welcome To Beeston was both funny and ballsy.

No Title Magazine, April '07

So I can't be doing too badly. If anyone would like to book Sally7 (sallies 1-6 included), or have any ideas for projects, get your people to message my people and we'll do lunch.

Welcome To Beeston

Hello,
We are playing the lovely Cardigan Arms on the 21st of March. Being foreigners from Sheffield, it would be grand if you could pop in and see us and bring a few other Leedsies with you if you are free.

Here are a few nice things people have said about us.
Have a listen on our page and see if you like what we are up to

"AN AMAZING LIVE ACT, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN" (Sandman Magazine)

"AN IMPRESSIVE SET FROM A BAND WITH A KNACK FOR WRITING CATCHY SONGS AND DELIVERING THEM LIVE AS WELL AS IN THE STUDIO" (Sandman Magazine)
"PROMISING SONG WRITERS" (Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6)

"THESE DAYS I FIND THRASH AND POWER POP A BIT REPETITIVE, BUT THIS WAS REMINISCENT OF MORRISSEY WHILE STILL BEING PERSONAL, I HEAR THE POSSIBILITY OF A GOOD FUTURE. IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU COULD SUPRISE US ALL ONE DAY".
(Paul Gambaccini, BBC Radio 6)

Anyway, it would be nice to see you there.

Hello, we are foreigners from Sheffield that will be playing Leeds on the 12th of December at the Cardigan Arms. It would be grand if you could come and make noise for us, as Sheffield folk are far too frightend to come to a big city like leeds.
Cheers
