   About Sal Oliveri

My philosophy, as a Producer, is that I shouldn't have a "sound" of my own. My goal is to draw out the best of what each Artist has inside them.

Too often, producers cast their own vision upon their clients and the Artist ends up becoming a voice for the producer's agenda. My approach is exactly the OPPOSITE. I purpose to find out what the Artist envisions, wants to communicate, what makes their spirit soar, and then put the right pieces together to form their piece of art, their expression, their heart. It's all about AUTHENTICITY. When I provide the Artist with an enviorment where they are safe to be REAL and HONEST, something profound always happens. God meets them in that moment and takes their expressions beyond merely the listeners ears, but straight to the listeners heart. PROJECTS TO CHECK OUT:

I finished two projects for Sovereign Grace Music, "PSALMS" (http://www.sovereigngracemusic.org/albums/category/sovereign_grace_music/psalms) and "COME WEARY SAINTS" (http://www.sovereigngracemusic.org/albums/category/sovereign_grace_music/come_weary_saints). Another project I'm really excited about is for a NEW GROUP called ASHMONT HILL. They toured this past winter/spring with Natalie Grant. The group is amazingly talented, but more importantly, they know they are called to minister the Gospel and do so with much boldness. Two of the songs from the CD have charted in top 20 and one in top 10. (http://www.ashmonthill.net)

I've also finished an EP with worship leader/ song writer TONY SUTHERLAND. Tony is so talented, writing his own songs,. he's a great singer and pianist. If that weren't enough, he's truly an amazingly anointed worship leader. (www.tonysutherland.com)

I was honored to co-produce a song called "Mercy's On It's Way" with singer/songwriter CALVIN NOWELL for the organization Mercy Ships. Please visit their website to find out about this amazing organization and how they are sharing the love and mercy of Christ.

Multi-platinum songwriter ALLEN SHAMBLIN is continuing to record his own solo project with me at my studio. Allen is recording many of his "hits" made popular by well know recording artists. "I Can't Make You Love Me" (Bonnie Rait) is just one of the many hits Allen has written and is recording on this project. Allen is preforming these songs the way they were written, with just his acoustic guitar and his voice. It's a breath-taking project.

Lastly, I posted one Piano Instrumental of mine from what I call, "PIANO PRAYERS". My daughter, Sophia, was waking up nightly for some time terrified by nightmares and nothing seemed to help. I sat down one late evening at my piano to pray for her and "LIGHT" is one of the spontaneous pieces of music that came from it. The next night I played the CD on repeat in her room and she slept as soundly and peacefully as a baby.

We really enjoyed the work that you did on the group " ASHMONT HIL". it was really inrcredible.
