    They sit on shelves, i read them sometimes then i put them back on the shelves. I like to read 3 pages of a serious book put it down and read a detective novel and then pick up the first book. So Kafka, Philip K Dick, Kinky Friedman, Orwell and many more. I like Kinky Friedman but have just got into a Norweign detective author who's name I can't remember. Just finished Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake - Gothic but good.
