Saloon Pilots...

are comprised of five fortunate individuals who have the unique and wonderful opportunity to perform progressive Bluegrass music in the beautiful 50th state of Hawaii.

How do you define progressive Bluegrass music? Well, in our case, you could refer to what we do as based on American roots music performed on traditional bluegrass instruments...but with influences from varied musical genres.

Our instrumentation consists of: fiddle, 5-string banjo, mandolin, guitar, and upright bass. We play a variety of music, whether it consists of traditional Bluegrass, or anything in the contemporary genre whose melodic and rhythmic arrangements captures our attention.

We all have the utmost respect for traditional Bluegrass, but we love to play music that influences us and reaches out to our audiences.

Please visit our site often and we'll keep you informed of our upcoming performances. (Want to get in touch with us? Please do so by calling: 808-561-7065 or by e-mail at paulsato@hotmail.com)

So, your workshop last Sunday was awesome, and that last workshop you gave stuck with me.

I've had your jazzy version of Weeping Willow Tree in my head since i heard it that afternoon and i was wondering if there was a recording of it, or your TAb for it. It was so cool to hear that song like that. I'm gonna try to banjofy that song.

Thanks!

I heard your song on the film at the 24 hour film project. As soon as I heard it I knew it was you guys. Sounded great!

Funny thing I did a song for one of the films in the competition too, which is why I was there.

Hope your show goes well in NC!
