SalsaJazz está realizado por Carlos Aranzazu y José Arteaga, cuya web, WWW.SALSAJAZZ.COM, comenzó a funcionar en 1995, siendo una de las pioneras en la música latina online.
Carlos Aranzazu es diseñador gráfico y ha trabajado en medios de comunicación colombianos como la Revista Deporte Gráfico (1995), Caracol Televisión (1998), Todosport Network (2000) y en 2001 fue productor general de Todofutbol.com. En la actualidad (2003 al 2008) se desempeña como docente del área tecnológica y diseño multimedia en diferentes universidades de Bogotá.
José Arteaga es escritor y periodista y ha trabajado en la emisora HJUT, El Espectador, Cerlalc, y Deporte Gráfico en Bogotá. También en Don Balón, Area 11, Sol90, y Playboy en Barcelona. Entre sus libros de música se destacan: La Salsa (Intermedio Editores. Bogotá, 1990), Música del Caribe (Editorial Voluntad. Bogotá, 1993), y Oye como Va: el mundo del jazz latino (La Esfera de los Libros. Madrid, 2003). En la actualidad es webmaster de Radio Gladys Palmera (www.rgpfm.com).
