About Salto Recordings

[salto-recordings]is a hamburg/ germany based label founded in 2006 by christian quast and markus newton - as a vehicle to express our passion for music and our creative development. In September 2007 Markus Newton decided to drop out and quit the label business.

The concept of [salto] was concieved this year due to our international contacts to “wellknown” and upcoming artists - representing different styles of electronic dance Music focused on the techno and house context.

[salto] is searching for individual artists with the gift to preserve his individial feelings, romance and aspiration inside of a track to make this invaluable moment playable and reconstructable.
