living here on the New Jersey cape is one of the greatest places in the world to be. My beautiful wife and I spend a lot of time just having fun with our kids. We do everything from the beach, boardwalk, sailing our Hobie, bike rides and festivals in the summer. To movie night and a hot cup of tea as we run the dogs on the beach in the winter. Or just relaxing around the house as a family.

Movies
Jaws is my all time favorite. The movie had the same profound effect on me as it did on the author Peter Benchley. I like Peter discovered that these predators are quite different from his fictional monster that made people wonder whether it was safe to go into the water. What once started as a passing curiosity has now turn into a quest for knowledge. Thank you Mr Benchley!
Television
Who has time for the television. Besides most TV shows really suck anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love to watch my favorite football team play on Sundays. Or watching something like Blue Planet for the hour before bed. At least I might learn something new. To me watching television is a waste of time. How could anyone call watching a so called reality show fun? Here is a example. Donald Trump's Apprentice. What obtuse imbecile could even conceive this is meritorious entertainment? Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of real life. Instead, real life is a series of challenges that sometimes require slow and methodical work to get results. Ok enough of my soap box lol...

Well if you can't tell by now I am a devoted husband and father. I have a beautiful wife and six great kids. Even thow they can drive you nuts in a matter of a few seconds, they are the greatest kids any father could ask for. When I am not spending time with my family I seem to be at work the rest of the time. When at all possible I love saltwater fishing. Whether from the beach or a boat it is way better then sitting along some little creek trying to catch what some may call a fish.

"Shark finning" is when fishermen cut off the fins of the shark and throw the live animal back into the ocean in order to save space on the boat. The shark drowns or bleeds to death on the ocean floor. Shark fins can sell for over $300 per pound due to the demand for shark fin soup, an Asian "delicacy".
Some species of shark populations have plumetted by 99% in the last 20 years and are in danger of becoming extinct, due mainly to the practice of finning.
HERE ARE 8 SIMPLE WAYS TO HELP STOP SHARK FINNING:
1. Don't eat shark fin soup! Don't eat in restaurants that serve it until they stop.

Archaeologists in Italy have uncovered two Stone Age skeletons in what the archaeologists have called, an “eternal embrace.”
