What is the deadline for the application?
All scholarship applications must be submitted by February 29.
Who is eligible?
* High school seniors who will be graduating in May
* High school seniors who plan to enroll in a college, university or trade school in the fall
* High school seniors who live or attend school in a participating area:
Texas
1. Coastal Bend Region
2. El Paso
3. Laredo
4. Rio Grande Valley
5. San Antonio
6. Victoria Area
About me: The Salute to Education Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who demonstrate community service, academic achievement, leadership and strong educational and career goals.
Ford Motor Company, participating Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers and Ford Motor Credit fund the program which has helped thousands of students realize their dream for a college or university education.
Participating Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers and Ford Motor Company have distributed more than $11 million in scholarships and educational grants in communities in Texas, California and Florida.
