*Formed in May 2005, SALVATION is a new French band, playing Street Punk Rock and which is under Reggae and Ska influence!
At the real beginning, SALVATION was just a side-project band… But history hasn’t followed the planed things…. Indeed, Alteau wanted to find a way out to express all the ideas of a different music he couldn’t exploit with BAD LIEUTNANTS, the band in which he sang at that time…
He asked his friend Jeremya (J’AURAIS VOULU, BRIGADA FLORES MAGON and CHARGE 69) if he wanted to take part at the adventure….
The plan 9 from outer space was to express their devouring passion for the real Punk Rock sound from the streets. They decided to try to leave a sonic bomb on the earth, simply mixing Punk, Rock n’ Roll and Reggae.“ back to the source” would say some Men!! Ludo (from J’AURAIS VOULU and BRIGADA FLORES MAGON) was the first bass player and Mad Phil (BAD LIEUTANTS, LES CAFARDS, SHERWOOD POGO and SADICOMIX) was (and still is) the wild beast behind the drums! Here began the adventure!
The band had recorded a first demo, but the 450km (about 280 miles) separating Paris (Alteau and Mad Phil) and Colmar (Jeremya and Ludo) became then a real problem concerning the regularity of the rehearsals…
*Here came the question: did we want to remain an eternal “studio band” or something “more”???
For Alteau, answer was clear: no way ‘bout it!
He would have liked to “burn the stages” with Jeremya, but, technically and materially, it wasn’t possible anymore!
*There was a deal: the only watchword was: mutual respect and faith towards their friendship!
Then, Jeremya has kept the total property of his musical compositions and Alteau has kept his lyrics ans massacred melodies!!! Easier to say it than to do it … Who around there was talented enough to compose new music on Alteau’s lyrics?? To reborn THIS thing good and different they previously tried to do without betraying the soul???
It seemed to be an impossible mission… But, fortunately, nothing seems to be able to destroy the fire of Great Rock ‘n Roll burning inside us!

*There came the Man: Florian aka Loki (EDGE UP and GHETTO KIDS), a Punk Rocker from 93 (northern Paris suburbs) who’s a very young man, but full of talent and will. He worked so hard with Alteau and brought Mr Franki to him (from EDGE UP) to play bass guitar. Another crazy talented young Rude Boy!
They spent time together and improved to carry out a new demo (5 tracks) in January 2007.

* Since the end of January 2007, Mad Phil found the drums back for the new breed of the rehearsals in Epinay-sur-Seine. That’s the moment Hugo has joined Salvation playing second guitar!
*Here comes the brand new band!!! Salvation is now ready to work regularly, to play gigs but also to record an album!
Part of the crew brings energy and enthusiasm due to their youth (average: 21 years old!) and the other part (no details ‘bout their ages) brings the experience, rage and determination…

I am doing well. Recovering from my eye surgery. Lil sweet pride is amazing. Walking at 10months. I am so proud. He has made my life. Love this kid to pieces.
