BIOGRAFIA Salvatore Chiaramonte nasce a Morlanwelz/Ht (Belgio) il 19 Giugno del 1959, da padre minatore e madre casalinga. Figlio di immigrati Siciliani(Caltagirone), vive la sua infanzia in Belgio tra i boschi e i campi. All’età di undici anni il ritorno in Sicilia. Si sposta con tutta la sua famiglia a Caltagirone, dove completa gli studi, diplomandosi all’età di diciannove anni presso l’Istituto Tecnico Industriale G.Marconi di Piazza Armerina. Gli anni di studio sono anche anni di frequentazione delle botteghe d’arte del paese, famose in tutto il mondo per la produzione di pregiate ceramiche. Nel 1979 sposa Ornella e si recano in Germania a Klinghenberg a main. Qui lavora presso una fabbrica di ceramica Albert werk fino al 1983. Nello stesso anno ritorna in Italia, in Sicilia, e si trasferisce definitivamente a Scicli(Rg), che da qualche anno e’ Patrimonio dell’Unesco. Trasferitosi, lavora presso l’Azienda Concessionaria Olivetti con mansione di Tecnico fino al 1987. Dall’anno seguente si mette in proprio, lavorando sempre come tecnico per privati ed aziende. Nel 2006 entra prepotente la sua voglia d’arte e da autodidatta intraprende la sua ricerca pittorica, scultorea e di espressione artistica. Ha la possibilità, sempre nel 2006, di esporre a Winsen (Amburgo), Wein / Depot Rathausstrasse, un Caffe des Artist. Il Tema della mostra "Terra, Sole, Mare di Sicilia". Ottiene notevoli apprezzamenti ed un articolo stampa. Alcuni lavori e opere pittoriche e scultoree in ferro battuto, acciaio sono sparsi fra ville e privati. Realizza inferriate in ferro battuto di pregevole fattura ed ha una spiccata qualita' per l'arredamento. Nel frattempo ristruttura, completamente da solo, una parte del "Palazzo Fava" di sua proprietà. Sito nel centro cittadino, ai piedi della collina di San Matteo, lo riporta ad antichi onori e splendori. Dall’età di quindici anni fino ai quarantadue e’ stato impegnato nell’attività sportiva di arti orientali, dedicandovi a pieno la sua vita e conquistando meriti ed attestati. Dal 8 al 14 giugno 2009 partecipazione alla mostra internazionale d'arte presso la Villa Wettstein-Alle(Basilea). Opere in permanenza presso la Galleria d'Arte Galerie am Brunnen (Basilea).
