SALVIMEX BIOGRAPHY.. .. Salvimex is the original Spanish rap/hip-hop venture representing the merger of two countries; in other words, music, cultures, and traditions of Mexico and El Salvador. The group and idea were created in the city of Los Angeles, CA, by Juan Pacheco. Originally, the original Salvimex was represented by two individuals: Juan Pacheco aka Drastiko, and Roberto Gomez aka Tercer Discipulo. Since 2003, a third person, Juan Jose Cruz aka Cruz, represents the trio, who perform at numerous celebrations, clubs and festivals, including: .. 2003 .. Hip-Hop Peace Out Festival, Oakland, CA .. 2004 .. Echo Park Latin Pride Festival, Main Stage, Los Angeles CA Hip-Hop Peace Out Festival, Oakland, CA .. 2005 .. Salvimex highlighted numerous festival presentations by sharing the stage with local as well as international artists. Other outstanding performances by Salvimex were fulfilled at Plaza Mexico in the city of Lynwood, Ca., Plaza Olvera in downtown Los Angeles, CA., the Anaheim, CA., Independence of Mexico festival, the Independence of El Salvador festival in Hollywood, CA., closing the year with the release of their first music album at the Plaza Mexico in Lynwood, with the support of Cristina Aguilar and Disco Azteca. .. 2006 .. During this year, Salvimex participated at numerous festivals, drawing large audiences, including television appearances, promoting their newly released album. Their most success was realized in their appearances at the PLAZA MEXICO, Lynwood, and the historic FLORENTINE GARDEN in Hollywood. .. 2007 .. Salvimex made inroads in the Anglo-Saxon world, making their relevant presentations at: WESTCHESTER BAR, Westchester, CA. famous for its history, with local, national and international artists. SAN FRANCISCO PRIDE, Main Stage, Salvimex being the only Spanish group, sharing the stage with international-fame performers. During this year, an invitation was extended to Salvimex as a part of the 2007 H-REVOLUTION TOUR in the USA’s southwestern states, including the cities of San Diego, Los Angeles, and CA. Las Vegas, NV. Phoenix, AZ., Albuquerque, NM., El Paso, San Antonio, Houston, Austin and Dallas, TX. Another important achievement was their presentation at the HISTORIC TEATRO GRIEGO in the City of Hollywood, during the OUTFESS INTERNATIIONAL FESTIVAL. .. 2008 .. Salvimex continues his diverse stage appearances in clubs, art exhibits, festivals, communities, restaurants – receiving the most impressive invitation to perform his music at the INTERNATIONAL AIDS CONFERENCE in Mexico City in August 2008. .. .. La Idea de Juan Pacheco por crear un grupo nacio en la ciudad de Los Angeles, CA. En este año se participa en infinidad de festivales y presentaciones en shows de television, todo esto como parte de la promocion del nuevo album, siendo los mas relevantes en PLAZA MEXICO de la ciudad de Lynwood, CA., y en el historico FLORENTINE GARDEN de la ciudad de Hollywood, CA.. 2007.. Salvimex incursiona en el mundo anglosajon, realizando presentaciones relevantes: WESTCHESTER BAR en la ciudad de Westchester, CA., famoso por su antiguedad y presentacion de artistas tanto nacionales como internacionales. SAN FRANCISCO PRIDE Main Stage; siendo el unico grupo en español y compartiendo el gran escenario con artistas Estaudinences de talla internacional.
