Salyer Day Rio is the latest trio to the Ark-La-Tex featuring three of the best sidemen in the area, who decided to join forces for their very own project. The projects these guys have been associated with are far too many to mention and quite frankly don’t matter now. Terry Salyer is the veteran of the group on drums, keeping time since the beginning of time! Terry put out his first solo cd ‘Knock Out Some Rock’ in 2003 on which he played all instruments, and a selection of these tunes is featured in the band's set. Jim Day handles bass and keys. Jim released his first solo album ‘In My Head’ in 2008, and like Terry has some of those songs currently featured in the show. Rio Wallace is back in the Ark-La-Tex after a few years in Nashville and brings his synth guitar and stage antics back to Texas. Salyer Day Rio will all write and sing to make a band that is truly a band.
