Sam Amant is a solo artist - so solo she doesn't need a backing band. Instead, she has a sampler and a shiny red Stratocaster. 2001.......supporting "the Cure" in Grenoble with her ex-band "my favorite dentist is dead". 2002.......festival de Nimes with Pj Harvey,Ben Harper and Muse.. split with her band..end of the contract with Warner. 2003.......Sam amant leaves France to go and live in London. 2004.......release a song under the name of Fickle in the compilation"nordic days"(Goldfrapp,moby,Sigur Rós...). 2006.......release a 12"(Pias) with Sexchon...ad in Rolling stone magazine. 2007.......she's nominated for The INDY Music Awards as the best live performance 2006. she played the barfly,the fly,borderline and many more,support unsane in Hamburg,plays the berlin hilton in Berlin, headline at the Alan Mc gee parties. 2008.......Prepare a music video for her song "ding ding down" with the support of Princess Tv.. and prepare a Tour of Europe.
