sam just released his second album of songs, "all is well," on the bedroom community label. it is a collaboration with composer nico muhly and producer-engineer valgeir sigurðsson, and was recorded in iceland throughout 2007. includes contributions from eyvind kang, aaron siegel, ben frost, stefan amidon, and a 9-piece brass/woodwinds/strings ensemble arranged by muhly.

that is an astonshing dream! last night, my family was having a family meeting in this house in the canyons! i went out to go pee and as i was walking back in! there was a huge wolf looking through the crack of the door! it saw me and ran off and became a deer! i ran inside and told my family frantically! the lights turned off! and they didn't believe me! then there it was! looking at us through the window! it turned into a cougar! and then to a old man! and it varied back and forth! it was trying to come in! but his hands were paws! my family screamed! i woke up with my heart pounding! i woke up scared! crazy things dreams do! it took me awhile to fall back asleep! i hope i don't get mauled by a cougar when i go hiking this evening:(

i had a dream about you... there was some contest going on... where we had to chase you in the desert! we had to chase you and try to hit you with honeydew melons! everyone got tired of chasning you! so there i was...the last one standing! so i throw my melon at you and miss you! you had a half of a honeydew melon and one cantaloupe! you threw it at me and missed me! and tried with the cantaloupe and missed me again! i had one more honeydew left! you ran up a hill and i was at the bottom! for some reason! you said ,"you got me" you gracefully jumped off! smashing facefirst into the dusty ground! you screeched, "my crowns! my teeth!!!" they had busted out! i walked up to you and smashed the honeydew on yer head! you got pissed~ and yelled! "you loser!!!" i laughed and said, "yer the one who lost!"and i walked off only to wake up! anywaze! that's it! I LOVE yer tunes! i listen to yer stuff everyday!
