"Rock/folk/rap… that’s what I thought as well; casting aside all preconceptions you’ll find that this eclectic mix of musicians put a whole new twist on watching live music. Both vocalists (a remarkable tenor and a MC with the gift of the gab) pull focus and define this interesting new sound. The subtleness of the guitar can’t be understated, as it changed from rhythm to shredding solos. Breaking off from tradition and opting to play one song for their 20 minute set, which gave you a larger idea of what this band can do."
David Crouchman, Surface Unsigned Fesival review.
The result is an 18 minute track recorded at the studios at Westminster University, which finally became the song ‘This Is The End Of Your Life’. Sam wrote, performed and recorded an instrumental version to start with and then drafted in Oli Rose and J.Swift to write and perform vocal and MC parts over the existing track. Unfortunately the finished product has to be split into sections to fit it on myspace, but the full track with no breaks can be heard here -
