Marked by engaging lyrical style and a vocal sound that many have said is so clear that "you can put your hand through it" this gifted newcomer has captivated audiences with her pure talent and charismatic stage presence. From her humble beginnings in music, singing lead in the children's choir in rural Oklahoma to harnessing the power of praise as she ushers in thousands with captivating lyrical expression and a soul-stirring, distinctive vocal style that truly transports the listener into another realm, this artist is quickly becoming someone to watch. With her debut single, "Behold the Lamb," and other self-penned materpieces, Samantha hopes to make an indelible mark in the recording industry and open the door to other performing arts projects.
Samantha is the youngest girl of nine children, that hail from the midwest (Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas) and grew up surrounded by music. Her father, now a Baptist minister, played trumpet and sang blues in the night clubs of Kansas City as she would listen in to his practice sessions during the week and her grandmother sing church hymns during her Sunday visits with her. Every sibling has a musical talent and family reunions always result in a musical jubilee. She studied the piano, violin, trombone and baritone. In college, she entered and studied two years as a Performing Arts major before changing to Business Admnistration, citing "that I want to perform, but I also want to eat!" as her rationale. Never losing the desire for the arts, she went to law school, but found herself drawn to courses like Sports and Entertainment Law and did several sports/entertainment contract negotiations post-graduation. Now a successful corporate attorney, she still embraces her first love of music, continuing to write and express her vocal talent as a praise and worship leader each week in worship services at her church, Christ the King Baptist Church located in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia.
I love your music God placed in your heart, the live performances, and your soulful voice. I look forward to a collaboration with SCardwell Music. Love and Blessing for you and your CD project.
