I would like people to know I do not do everything myself... A lot of people have helped me get to this point and they deserve the credit too.
People responsible for the music currently playing on myspace are...
"Run" Live Acoustic with Paul Harthill
The Music is arranged and performed by... Paul Harthill. The track was recorded live at Offbeat recording studio engineered by Iain McKinna.
"Never Give Up Your Dreams"
My Newest song is to help raise Awareness and money for Autism charities. It is on a Charity EP made especially for Autism Fife. Meredyth Desmond wrote the song about me and having hope, Sergei Desmond composed and performed the music. It was produced by Meredyth & Sergei.
"Spread Your Wings"
Written and composed by Steve O'Connor. Music arranged, produced & engineered by Sergei & Meredyth Desmond.
This is another track that I choose from the CD that Steve sent to me... I thought this was a beautiful song and wanted to sing it, so I did.
"Last Chance"
Written and composed by Giacomo Digiovinazzo (james lee).
Music Performed, produce & engineered by Sergei & Meredyth Desmond.
James Lee Said I could record a copy of his song last year, eventually mum said it was OK. He wrote the song and dedicated it to the city he loves where I live Edinburgh.
It was a long time working on this until we were all happy with my version.
"Touch You In Vain"
Written and composed by Steve O'Connor. Music arranged, produced & engineered by Sergei & Meredyth Desmond.
I was allowed to choose any song from a CD that Steve sent to me... I thought this was a good song to sing and I made my own vocal arrangement for it.
"Top Of The Word Tonight"
The music on this song is written, arranged and performed by Roy Henderson. Roy gave me the backing track that he used for the original song that is on his Album. I then recorded my vocal at Offbeat recording studio engineered by Iain McKinna. It was such fun.
"I See Daylight"
Written and composed by Steve O'Connor. Music produce & engineered by Mike Clarke.
It was very nice of Steve to let me record this song using his backing track. I was allowed to use my own vocal arrangement which were recorded and engineered at Offbeat by Iain McKinna.
"Love Me For Who I Am"
My own original song for Autism Awareness.
Meredyth Desmond wrote the song especially for me, Meredyth also arranged the song and Sergei Desmond composed and performed all the music, Sergei did all the engineering. I love my special song, I think it is funky and fun :)
Sergei Desmond produced, arranged and engineered and made the backing music for "You Move Me" It was recorded during my singing lessons.
The song was requested by a friend here on myspace called Samantha Taylor. We all think it was a good choice of song. Thank you Samantha :)
Simon Reid produced, arranged, engineered and played all the instruments for the new version of "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" He allowed me to use my own vocal arrangement and ideas for it. Simon also added some of his own vocal harmonies in so he is singing with me :)

Influences
I like all kinds of music
There are too many people and songs that I like to be able to make a list,
I started singing country songs and classical... then moved onto pop as I got older.
Sounds Like
Hopefully I sound like me now.
When I first started singing I was more a mimic than a singer so I sounded like the person who's song I was singing.
Thanks to Sergei Desmond my vocal coach I now seem to be developing my own sound... which is good I think
Thank You also to
Marc Marnie Stagefright Photography for the lovely photos he took of me. (see them in my pics)
Making music just for the love of it... With the hope that others will like it too.
My mum helped me make this page, she looks after it for me, so if you get a friends invite it will be either mum or me sending it.
If you send me a message I answer all my messages myself with mums help to understanding things asked or being said. I cant always answer the same day please be patient with me.
I am 15 years old now, I have Autism with a pervasive communication disorder,
I started singing before I learned to talk. And though I still cant communicate very well using speech... but I do try even if it does not come out right.
I can only do what I do because of the love and support of my family and friends who would not let the label of "Autistic" limit me to what other said I should be able to do....
I am not the best singer in the world.... but I do love to sing and I have been very lucky to have the chance to record a few of the songs I like to sing.
Most of all what would be great is if my music helps raise "Autism Awareness" and makes people think differently about children who have Autism...
Just because we cannot talk or communicate well does not mean we should not be given a chance to show what we are capable of

AWA welcomes ASAN President Ari Ne'eman and Board Member Paula Durbin Westby, organizer of Saturday October 31st Washington DC area protest against Autism Speaks. We'll be hearing from them about ASAN's protest at Autism Speaks' DC area walk-a-thon Saturday as well as the growing wave of protests against Autism Speaks around the country, why its happening, where its going, what its implications and importance will be for the neurodiversity movement & the autistic community. In addition, we'll be checking in with ASAN on some of their advocacy priorities inside the beltway, asking about how Autistic people will be impacted by the health reform packages being considered by Congress and what pending legislation on school abuse might have to help Autistic students.
Yes, there was a real Dracula, and he was a true prince of darkness. He was Prince Vlad III Dracula, also known as Vlad Tepes, meaning "Vlad the Impaler." The Turks called him Kaziglu Bey, or "the Impaler Prince." He was the prince of Walachia, but, as legend suggests, he was born in Transylvania...
