My passion for singing started when I was 2 when my dad taught me how to sing my first song, "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." Ok ok...so it wasn't the lightest of material - but it was a start!!! :)
After that my grandmother instilled in me an even larger love for music when she taught me how to play the piano.
I also can't forget my mom - a woman who plays a mean guitar and is quite the lyricist ta boot.
These people are completely responsible for my roots in music. However, after the roots took, everything just seemed to fall into place. I can't remember a time now when music wasn't an incredibly large part of my life.
Finally, last, but certainly not least, I have to give a shout out to Mr. Daryl Silva, the independent film maker and album producer- who has given me more opportunities to pursue my dreams than anyone ever before. Check him out at www.thesilvascreen.com.
THE ALBUM, PHOTO SHOOT, and MUSIC VIDEO ARE NOW FINISHED!!! The album should be ready for distribution in November. Until then, I hope you enjoy the songs I've posted here!
