The subway doors open. A hobo enters, holding a bottle of Windex
in one hand and a tube of toothpaste in the other.
Hobo: Which is the better time to read Dostyevsky? Winter?
He sprays the Windex.
Hobo: Or Spring?
He squeezes toothpaste out of the tube.
Japanese girl: Spring!
Hobo: You are correct.
A friendly Asian man on the Santa Monica Pier asked if I wanted a bust of myself. I figured that L.A. was the perfect place for Narcissism, so I said yes. It was only $20, and it only took 20 minutes. I asked him to add a crown of laurels, but he didn't know what I was talking about. Unfortunately, I didn't learn how to say "crown of laurels" in Mandarin during the year I studied it in college, so I had to settle for a plain bust of myself.
I know, I'm interested if you've some other great classics to recommend. She's actually in a new one (can't recall the name) aged, but still lovely of course. It's about the death of her son and how she becomes friends with his best friend thereafter. I haven't seen it yet, b/c I can't recall the name~!! It looks good though :)
Kudos to you for knowing of Miss Denevue. I want to see Belle De Jour very badly, and have yet to do so. I loved her first in umbrellas of cherbourg :)
Hi Samantha! I haven't spoken with you in such a long time, so i thought i would say hello. How have things been, and how are you? I hope that everything is wonderful, and that this Spring is reigning wonderfully and beautifully for you. Hopefully we can talk and catch up sometime. Best wishes!
Hey girlie girl. I love the new pics! You are too cute! Anyway, I haven't talked to you in awhile, so I thought I'd drop a note and see how things are. Talk to you later.
