formed in 2000, the martyrs were a project to distract rob from his crippling depression. after honing their skills, the band realized they had their future cut out for them (for a few years anyway). the band achieved little success. a couple of national tours, a few bullshit awards, and only one real cd to show for their efforts.
in 2004 the group disbanded. diego joined to air force, only to recieve a dishonorable discharge when it was discovered that he was hosting cock fights and using winnings to fund sheite rebels in iraq. rob sunk deeper into depression and was often seen working as a pimp on san antonio's east side. it was rumored that mark, a born again christian, became a missionary in less developed countries.
despite adversary the band has managed to reunite and begin work on what has been called "the come back of the remainder of the year". new material is bound to surface and rumor has it that rob's new "gay-rap" project will challenge even the puffiest of daddies.
