Born in Washington,D.C.of Scottish and German,Dutch heritage, living in Maryland,Grew up around music..my Mother played piano,oldest brother played sax and also played in a band with Jack Casady the future bassplayer with the Jefferson Airplane before he went west to join them,which had me playing sax in grade school. Went to catholic school for 7 years.
